I just returned from a three night stay with my adult daughter and we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Bellaire, Michigan! We had been to Bellaire to visit Shorts Brewery in the past, which is a great experience in itself, and saw this beautiful hotel. So on our next visit we stayed here. It was a quiet... More

The Stone Waters Inn is simply beautiful! The back porches lead to beautiful decks down to the river that runs behind it. Sitting areas on very level give plenty of places to sit and read, meditate or have a quiet conversation. The room was spacious with gorgeous views. The staff was pleasant, courteous and accommodating! Will return for Texas yearly... More

We recently stayed at the Stone Waters Inn for our honeymoon getaway. The staff consistently went above and beyond to assure our trip was a perfect as possible. The property is beautiful and well kept. The river flows directly behind the property with romantic torch lit paths meandering along its banks. There is no shortage of things to do with... More

My wife and I have stayed here twice on trips to Shorts Brewery and loved our stays. Very friendly and helpful and the decking and hot tub on the river are great amenities. Peaceful and quiet for being right on the main drag of the village.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the stone waters for a few nights to visit Short's Brewery. We had a wonderful time! The river behind the inn is absolutely beautiful! Most nights we would buy a six pack from the brew pub and enjoy our evenings in the hot tub looking over the river! Coming from the city, it was... More

This could be a very nice place. The setting is beautiful - wooded and located on a river. Lots of seating overlooking the water. Nice lobby complete with a pool table. And walking distance to Shorts Brewery. Sound good? Like I said - it could be. The management has let the place run down. Rooms could have been a lot... More

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay at the inn. We did find that the shower door was broken and that the kitchen sink was spraying in your room and both were fixed immediately. I wish you would have mentioned this to us during your stay as I would have gladly fixed both of these right away.... More

Stayed here again for 4th time in 12 months. 2 stays since last review. Loved our stay and looking forward to coming back. Town is charming, with Shirts brewery, movies, and shops within a couple blocks. Also my favorite Michigan restautauny LuLus Bistro. Groom was great, hot tub out back and sitting area alongside stream were perfect ways to unwind.... More

My husband and I stayed at Stone Water Inn for our anniversary get away. We we very disappointed with our room and with the hotel in general. The pillows, sheets and covers were very worn out looking. The room was dark due to the small windows. Our room was on the street side and it was very loud due to... More

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay at the inn. I would first like to state that we are not a B&B and have never advertised as such. We are located the B&B/Inn category on Tripadvisor due to our size. With being a smaller inn with only 9 rooms we had no other option, as we are... More

The river views from the decks with lit tiki torches were a nice touch but the rest of the Inn left a lot to be desired. Little things go a long way - if you have windows that open - be sure they have screens so that bugs and other creatures won't be crawling in at night. Update saggy beds... More
