We stayed in the Crosswinds Condos through vactaion properties network (vacation club). We did the exchange through rci, and were very happy with this exchange. We chose this location because we wanted to get away for 3 days and go skiing . The mountian that is close to this resort is Schuss Mountain. We usually try to go skiing there at least once a year because it is only 4 hours from our house. This was rated as a gold crown and it did meet those expectations.
We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. This was very comfortable with 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The living area had a gas fireplace and the master bedroom had a wirlpool tub.
At the Summit Hotel next door you can use their indoor pool and hot tub which is nice after skiing the whole day.
Schuss Mountain is very family orientated, and they upgraded their terrain park which includes a beginers section and an advanced section. They also put in a half pipe. Both of my boys are snowboarders and spent alot of time in this... more
