This is an older low-rise motel on a main street in Bay City. It is on M13, north of M25. You take Exit 162A from I 75.

The rooms are smallish and spotless. You park right in front of the room, a plus when traveling with sleepy kids. The towels are OK, certainly above the Motel 6 standard. The bed was comfortable. The windows open and there is good cross ventilation. Coffee maker, hair drier, iron and board, and microwave are provided. Fixtures and furniture are a bit tired but everything works properly and there adequate hot water. They claim to have in-room high speed Internet but I did not try it. The motel has a pool and an outdoor play area for kids.

Nothing fancy, but a good, clean, family friendly place to stop for a night.
