This wouldn't be the lodging to vacation in, but for a overnight stop "it ill do." It's clean and the beds are comfortable and the place is well run but old. There are probably better deals in the area so for the price, I could only say average.

Quiet, clean and welcoming. It is a food value. If you are looking for a place to relax and get a good nights sleep this is the place. Other newer hotels in the area are overrun with children and teens on the weekends
If you're driving through the backwoods in Michigan and Wisconsin and some of the other states with huge areas of sparsely populated regions don't expect to find the Hyatt House or the Ritz. This is a very clean, well maintained little gem. It was comfortable and the staff were easy to deal with. They offer free wifi here too so...

Stayed one night here - it's a motel, and it's a good motel. It's not the Ritz, but you don't pay $50 with taxes for a room at the Ritz. Clean, free wifi, fridge and microwave in the room. Perhaps people need to look at their rooms before accepting them - mine was clean, in good condition, and apart from...

The proprietor was very nice, but our room was in extreme need of refurbishing. The furniture was broken, the walls were not in good shape, and the toilet was leaking. The beds were clean and free of wildlife, but the carpet was in need of a good shampooing. The breakfast in the AM was donuts, coffee & juice.
I booked a king-bed room with Gita on April 1, for a June 14 stay. When we arrived, the owner said he had no more king-bed rooms, only queen-bed rooms. He apologized, said his wife didn't tell him. Hard to believe, and disappointng. Room was clean and breakfast o.k. Won't stay there again, though. CAtraveler
Bay City has limited hotels. After checking a couple in town, we stopped and asked a local and they directed us to Euclid Motel. He said it was a nice place to stay. Once there we were welcomed and checked the room and found it beautifully cleaned. A rare find and an affordable price. The next morning we visited with...

the pool was closed. Besides the affordable cost and decent reviews on trip advisor, the outdoor pool was the main reason for booking a room at the Euclid. It was closed due to a leak. Thankfully the room itself and everything else was good. We had a non-smoking king room, I believe we paid $55 for a thursday night rate,...

First, let me say that I'm a woman traveling alone. This might make a big difference in my review. My "pros" are listed first.
The Euclid is fine for what it is -- a cheap place to stay. My AAA rate got me a night for $40 ($49 with taxes). That's for a single room with a queen bed. No...

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay in the area and found the Euclid Motel on Trip Advisor. We booked the room over the phone and when we checked in the owner/manager told us that he had gone in and started up the air conditioning. (It was a HOT day and night)
That was one of...
