We stayed here the first few nights of our trip. The hotel was very nice--quite new and beautifully decorated and furnished. They were very helpful in helping us find the fireworks that night, and an employee even offered to help my husband bring in the luggage--something that doesn't usually happen at this type of hotel. more

The rooms are very big! Everyone was very helpful when asked about towels for the pool area and local eateries (Harveys is good!). The pool was a smaller pool, but still very nice and the water was just cool enough to be refreshing; definitely not too warm or too cold! The beds all have 4 pillows on them, labled "firm"... more

The Bay City Holiday Inn is a rather new hotel. It is right off Interstate 75 with a couple of decent restaurants nearby. We stopped for the night on our way from the outlets in Birch Run to our weekend on Mackinac Island. Common areas are really nice with lots of granite and marble. Desk staff was great at giving directions- and that's great becuase the holiday inn website provided directions and map to the location of an old Holiday Inn (now closed) that used to be in downtown Bay... more
