Outside nice, Cajun restaurant great, people wonderful, large rooms, mattresses fantastic, breakfast so-so. No inside maintenance done evidently except in lobby area. Carpeting ripped and dirty. This hotel is awful. When we arrived we were told we had a studio suite. It is no different than a regular room. We were told there was a room divider, but we did not get that. The entire hotel smelled like stale smoke and is very dated. The doors to enter the hotel from the outside weren't locked. Hotel staff that we dealt with were not very friendly. Super nice and professional personel. The bar could use some updating. You wont get anything but a drink after 9pm, not even a pretzel. The rooms were clean. Used a coupon for this stay, worth every penny. Several Big screens, perfect for sports watching. more
