We were pleased to stay in the Fireside Room for a weekend getaway. Although our main purpose was to visit the Edward Gorey House (and we were happy to meet Ombledroom there!), we were excited to hear what Brian, the innkeeper, had to say about visiting the Cape. He gave us suggestions on where to go and how to get... more

We had a really enjoyable 3 nights stay at the Crook Jaw Inn, just the type of idyllic inn we had hoped to find on our first visit to Cape Cod. The Sea Breeze was a beautiful room with lots of space and a fabulous comfy bed. The room was cleaned daily which was lovely to come back to after... more

The Crook Jaw Inn is in a great location to walk to dining, the ocean and shops. Innkeeper Brain prepares a daily breakfast that is superb. The house is kept impeccably clean and the common space is suitable for evening and morning gatherings to plan the day's activities. We will return here. more

Brian is the proprietor of a homey New England B&B. He has created a comfortable, warm home that is shared with epitome of hospitality! From our arrival to our departure, we were treated as valued guests. Our room was lovely and homey, with a wonderful gas fireplace and all of the amenities, including lovely linens. Brian would talk with us... more

I searched the internet to find accommodation on Cape Cod and luckily found Crook Jaw Inn. The Inn was situated in an ideal place for exploring the Cape. Brian, the owner of Crook Jaw welcomed us and provided us with a map and lots of advice on what to see during our stay. Our room was delightful (we stayed in... more

We traveled to Massachusetts to drop our youngest daughter off at college, and decided to make a vacation of the remainder of the week. After our usual review of options on the web, we settled on the Crook Jaw Inn and were not disappointed! Brian is a gracious, accomodating host, the inn is lovely and nicely located in the historic... more

We loved Brian's breakfast and his friendly accessibility. One suggestion would be to update the bathroom in our bedroom and to use wrinkleproof sheets and pillow cases on a new, firm mattress! more

Management response from
Brian Howley, Owner / Innkeeper

As the owner and innkeeper I was very disappointed to read your comment regarding the bathroom during your stay. All of the bathrooms are maintained daily. I wish you had mentioned your concern during your visit as it would have been immediately addressed. I thank you for taking the time to comment.

This inn is centrally located on Cape Cod which makes it perfect for navigating the lower or upper Cape. It is immaculate and tastefully decorated including many pieces from local artists. Brian, the innkeeper, is very attentive and always ready with a dinner suggestion or sightseeing tips. On top of all that, the breakfasts were amazing. You will be asking... more
