I have been visiting the Cape at least twice a year since 1980 and The Old Yarmouth Inn has always featured in those trips. But Sheila and Arpad took it to a new level when they arrived and made it into the splendid establishment it is today. Blessed with a wonderful location, they added superb food and wine and friendly, informed staff to make it one of the best places to eat, anywhere.
I prefer the Bar for it's informal atmosphere and the chance it offers to meet local Cape Codders enjoying an aperitif after a hard day at work, on a boat or on the golf course. But the main restaurant is a great place to take friends to celebrate your good fortune in being there.
On top of all this, Sheila and Arpad offer genuine warmth to customers who quickly become friends and regulars to the Inn. more

We stayed here in 1981, and returned to the resturant in 1985 and again this year. The owner told me that they no longer rent rooms. We did have an excellent meal there this trip and would recommend it to anyone , especially if you're staying at any of the lovely inns within walking distance. more
