I stayed at the Colonial House Inn Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year. The proprietor, Malcolm Perna, and his staff treated with all the hospitality and warmth they would have there own family. It was a lovely holiday retreat.

My family and I enjoyed the Colonial Inn very much. It was our first visit to the Inn and it won't be our last. Mack the owner was so cordial and pleasant. He greeted us at the door and was so pleasant. He made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were charming and quaint. The food was excellent... More

Yes this is a vintage inn with all of the charm you would expect for the period it was built. We arrived in the middle of a cold wind and rain storm that had many places without power and were greeted warmly by Malcom and Jeff. The furnishings and decor are antique and you can detect the aroma of old... More

The room was very dated with water stains on the ceiling and bits of plaster work falling down. Dear God please spend some money at Walmart on new bed linens. The pillow cases where shreddfall and stained from age. The second floor smells like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking facility. The dinner however was excellent although... More

I really do not like to write anything negative, but there were a few things that really has to be brought up! First of all, yes, this is an old inn, but really has not been taken care of properly! There were problems with leaks, heat, and a few other things! The price was really high, especially for the room... More

This was a great 1 night getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. No need to have a designated driver since dinner was part of the 'package'. We had the steak and the salmon, which was excellent! Breakfast was 'ok'; muffins and quiche. The innkeeper, Malcolm, fit in with the inn and was quite entertaining. Our hostess for dinner, Patrick, was... More

I just spent another great weekend at the Colonial House Inn attending the 5th Annual Ghost Hunting & Paranormal Weekend. The Inn has such a history and when staying there you feel like you are back in time! The rooms are very nice and the rates are very good considering what you get. Your rate includes dinner and a light... More

My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Colonial. If you love old historic Inns you will love this place. Mac was a great host taking care of whatever you needed and he spent timing going over sights to visit at the Cape. The dinners were excellent. Breakfast was more continental with fruit, muffins, banana bread and quiche.... More

I recently had the pleasure to stay at the Colonial House Inn during the 5th Annual Ghost Hunting & Paranormal Weekend. What a great time!!! This is my 3rd time staying at the Inn. The innkeeper and staff were very attentive to all our needs. Although all of the rooms are nice, I do prefer the main house--the rooms have... More

My wife and I spent five nights at the Inn and had great weather....unseasonable warm... in the 70"s each day. We had a queen bed in the Carriage House. It was a small but comfortable room With TV and two chairs. I had requested a first floor room since I have some problems with stairs and my request was smoothly... More
