The owner was extremely accommodating, allowing well-behaved pet and child. They gave us the best, corner room Lovely!!, there is AC and the stay included dinner AND a breakfast of tasty home baked goods with quiche and thick french toast. Clean! and cannot beat the atmosphere and charm. Convenient location and very well priced for in-season on Cape. Thank you... More

This place was musty, spidery, and the facilities (pool and jacuzzi) were a joke as they were so poorly maintained. The food was terrible. The owner seemed nice at first, but his snippiness and defensiveness shone through once he saw that we were noticing all the untidiness/lack of maintenance. It's a shame b/c I think this place attracts people looking... More

Nice old world charm at this beautiful old historical building. The owner was very pleasant and knowledgeable on details about this property. It is interesting to think the work done to restore this building. As property is over 300 years old and not a new "plastic" hotel. I can definitely recommend this Inn to people who want a great convenient... More

My first time to the Cape, and I was not disappointed. This Inn is exactly what I was looking for in a typical Cape Cod establishment. The innkeeper Mr Parma went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Probably one of the best kept secrets is the food. Our visit was only for 2 nights and we only... More

Great place to stay. It is a cozy little inn and offers a great pleasant experience. Breakfasts and dinners are included and the innkeeper is fabulous and courteous. Would definitely stay here again!!

If you are looking for a place to stay on the Cape look no further than the Colonial House Inn! We just returned from our second stay at the Inn and will look forward to returning any time we take a trip to the Cape. Part of the charm of this lovely old place is the innkeeper, Mac Perna, who... By far the best part of the Colonial House Inn is the hospitality of the owner Mac. He goes out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable. We had to leave due to a family emergency and Mac was very understanding and made sure we only paid for the time we were there. If you are looking... More

I recently spent 3 days at the inn. The innkeeper Mr. Perna is a history buff who loves his 300 year old inn and loves to share stories about it. Included in the room fee is breakfast (Juice, fruit, sweet rolls, coffee. tea etc) and dinner (entree, salad). The meals were delicious and prepared to order. My favorite was chicken francese... More

This was a great place! My Mom and I enjoy long weekends at different locations. The staff was *amazing*, so much so that when the housekeeper came in to clean, she took my dog bed out to clean it, brought it back in and made it up with a blanket and put fresh water in my dog's bowl. Very pet... More
