Claire and Robin are the perfect hosts. From arrival to departure, they saw to our every need, including lending us ice packs and beach chairs for the beach. And what a beautiful home they have! It's like staying in a little part of history, beautifully and comfortably furnished--not to mention that the breakfasts are DELICIOUS. My husband and I will... More

If you appreciate historic architecture and modernization this is the place. Gourmet breakfast was excellent, see picture. Friendly knowledgable hosts, this house has beautiful rooms with fireplace, equipped with Air Conditioning. Clair & Robin, you set the standard, thank you.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a weekend over the fourth. I grew up coming to Barnstable but due to scheduling conflict, couldn't stay at family's house for the fourth. I was wary about getting a B&B but couldn't have enjoyed a better experience here. Robin was a gentleman and truly top class as he welcomed us to his... More

We spent a week this summer at this newly decorated, updated B&B. Brand new amazingly comfortable beds, bedding , furniture. Lovely freshly made breakfast each morning and inn keepers that know The Cape. We understand that they will also be updating the bathrooms soon. For the price point you can't beat this place for value.

Robin and Clare, the new owners of The Village Inn are enthusiastic, personable, hospitable people who are very customer oriented. Robin has in-depth knowledge of the Cape which ensured every day we spent in the area provided the best of experiences. Clare and Robin offered delicious and varied breakfasts which set us up for the day.

There's really very little not to like about this quaint and quiet B&B. Robin and Claire just bought the Inn a couple of months ago and they are personable and available to help without being overwhelming as some innkeepers can be. They are eager to carry a bag, give you driving directions,or point you to a beautiful running spot nearby.... More

I'm writing this review far too late but could not go without mentioning how much I enjoy staying at The Village Inn. Karen and her family are as gracious, welcoming, and friendly as it gets. They are as attentive, if not more so, than more expensive inns. It's an older inn than some people will like, but that doesn't detract... More

Spent 4 nights at this lovely B&B. Perfectly placed for day trips around the Cape. We had a choice of rooms on arrival and Karen was an excellent hostess. Lovely breakfast and it's an easy walk down to the Yarmouth Inn if you want to eat locally in the evening. Highly recommended.
