This wonderful little family-run motel is the perfect place to overnight, especially if you have missed the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Run by Sandy and Andy with charm and kindness, it has everything you need for comfort, including coffee machine and a good price. We felt very comfortable there, especially since they were kind enough to come down to the... More

We spent two nights in Woods Hole and chose this place because of its location. It is very convenient to the Shining Sea Bike Path, although one does have to cross a busy street then go down a steep incline to get to the path. The Sleepy Hollow is also a couple of blocks to the village restaurants and even... More

I had to go to the Vineyard for an early evening event and needed a place to stay for one night, and this was just perfect. Sue, the proprietor, was very helpful. She sold us the Ferry tickets for Martha's Vineyard and told us how to walk down to the ferry dock. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was modern... More

About a 15 minute level walk to the center of town and even closer to the ferry terminal. The air-conditioned room was perfectly adequate and had the usual amenities. We did not use the pool although it looked tempting. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Classic motel from the 60's. Great location for walking to ferry, Nobska beach, Woods Hole. Great customer service, mailed me my extra key set that I left behind. Will stay again. Proximity to everything you could want is paramount and you can walk to everything, that's a big deal in WH where parking is almost non-existent during the work day.

We certainly appreciate this positive review and the many other reviews that note our cleanliness. We don’t often notice musty odors but there’s no question that the humidity of our ocean side location can pose challenges in July. We wash walls, ceilings, and carpets on a regular basis and air the rooms out everyday. What we don’t do is assault... More

Very close to the ferry and clean, tidy, well run place. As others have said it is an older style motel but it is so well kept and with such accommodating staff that it feels very welcoming. Only suggestion would be to get rid of the old carpets as in the humidity they feel damp and sticky. This was our... More

We stayed here the night before going over to Martha's Vineyard for the day and couldn't really ask for more. After buying the ferry tickets at reception, it was an easy 10 minute stroll straight on to the boat. The room itself was large and clean, there was a pool which looked pretty good but we didn't have the time... More

Nice family owned motel right in Woods Hole. The rooms are equipped w/ fridge, cable, etc, and are squeaky clean. The motel is certainly not new but the owners do a great job keeping it clean. It is only 1/3 of a mile to the MV Ferry and the various attractions of Woods Hole. The village of Woods Hole is... More

This sweet motel is two blocks from Woods Hole, so walking is a pleasure. The motel rooms are immaculate, and the beds are very comfortable. Management is friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely night's experience here and highly recommend this wonderful, family-owned motel.

From the outside, it's a retro motel with rooms flanking a pool. Each room is comfortable and clean. The hosts are friendly and welcomed us before the season had actually begun. Less than 1/2 mile to the harbor, an easy walk takes you to good restaurants and the ferry. I'd be happy to stay again.
