The best things about this Motel are its location and its price. It's an easy walk to the Festival Theater and only a few minutes by car to the Clark Museum and Downtown Restaurants. We had two rooms: one on the second floor which was musty and had, what seemed to us, unsafe electrical wiring. We requested a change for... More

I was in Williamstown competing in a USTA New England tennis tournament. After reading some of the reviews I expected an unsatisfactory experience. Much to my surprise the room was very clean as was the bathroom and it had a new carpet. The location was perfect, right in the middle of town, a minute walk to the Williams Inn and... More

The hotel staff was very welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again, as I am in the Berkshires often. The location is convenient to Route 7, as well as Route 2. Very convenient to Williams College and all the quaint stores and restaurants, also near to Vermont.

I liked this motel. It is family run and everyone from the owners to the maid staff are incredibly friendly. The only thing I did not enjoy about our stay was the pool and smoking policy. I completely understand not smoking in the rooms but when we smoked outside of the room on the balcony the owner asked us to... More

You get what you pay for I suppose. Decent price, but we had ants in our room. Bed was OK, but not comfortable pillows. The wifi was incredibly slow but it was free. Pool was fun for the kids and they had a basketball hoop for the kids to play.

Not much to say because I don't think I was there even 8 hours. If you were in the city it would be one of those motels that you pay for hourly (WINK). It was clean. My BF had a problem, he wanted to leave immediately, he was very uncomfortable. But to me as long as it was clean I... More

In an excellent location for Williams College, the Williamstown Theater Festival, the Clark Art Museum, and local restaurants, this is a modest hotel with a modest price. The light over the sink did not work, nor did the internet connection (not enough bars), but the firm mattress was just what my tired back needed.

Great location and friendly, hospitable management. Pleasant rooms and comfortable beds. Only suggestion would be to upgrade continental breakfast with more choices (e.g., whole grain breads). In general, enjoyed our stay at the Northside.

We booked this motel at the last minute based on its very reasonable price & proximity to The Williamstown Theatre Festival. After reading such negative reviews for this property we were a bit concerned, but fortunately, we were very pleasantly surprised ! The location is perfect...within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. It's such a lovely town, and... More
