The accommodation was even better than I thought it would be, and the price was reasonable. The location was central to dining, theater and the Clark Museum, the main reason for my visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. We stayed in room 335. It had a very large bed but there was still enough space to maneuver around the room. The bathroom was large and was the size of another room itself. We had to make a couple trips because the parking lot was on the other side of the... More

Upon arriving, our room, was 52 degrees and the forced air heat was blowing cold air. When I complained, a motel employee got the heat to work for an hour. He also provided us with a space heater in case the heat went out. The office closed at 9:30 and our heat quit shortly afterward. The space heater didn't provide... More

In every visit to the Northside prior to last weekend, I have been quite happy. I love that it's affordable, unpretentious, and right on campus. I don't have high expectations, and the Northside generally meets the modest expectations I do have for hotels. That said, they really dropped the ball on homecoming weekend. The heater blew cold air through most... More

Motel not clean w too much smelly thrift shop furniture. We carried own bags up to room on top floor: bathroom teeny w/shower/bath running simultaneously & box of mouse poison behind the toilet.TV had 2 shopping networks working. Too much furniture. Asked for room change to 1st fl.Sat morning; told might be available. We packed our bags for convenient move... More

This property could not be more conveniently located for visiting Williams College and the price is the best you'll find in the area. That said, you do get what you pay for. The parking lot is too small for the number of rooms and can be difficult to navigate safely. Floors and walls were thin enough that you could hear... More

The numerous extension cords and lack of any modern 3 prong outlets say it all. Then there are the spiral fluorescent bulbs that don't fit the lampshades. Then there are the curtains which fall off the broken pull rods. Then the spring protruding from the mushy mattress and finally the heat which went out in the middle of the night.... More

One request: Please replace the Styrofoam cups at breakfast. It's just too irresponsible, unenlightened, and not-biodegradable. I had a single bed and it wobbled a bit. The thermostat was good and the maid service was great.

Parking lot so crowded as to be dangerous; room first too hot, then too cold - system malfunctioning for the room but staff responded only on 4th day that there might be a problem and brought space heater; no spare toilet paper provided; towels were extremely thin and not a consistently complete set day to day; bulb burned out reported... This is not a luxury motel, but if you're a recent grad revisiting campus or just someone traveling to Williamstown on a budget I'd recommend it highly. Staff is friendly, parking on-site, and basically on campus. No frills and very "basic" rooms.
