Despite some of the negative reviews this property was clean and was a bargain. I had a good night's sleep, hot water and had internet access. What more do you really need, at times I believe people are just too spoiled. I'll be back.

We stayed there during a busy time of year - and just before students returned. Clean, reasonably priced compared to others and friendly staff. So quiet that we took a nap mid-afternoon right after checking in - didn't hear a peep anywhere. Same at night. Overall a bit dated but clean and basic breakfast - so we were pleased. Great... More

This is a clean, comfortable, 1950s hotel. The owners live on site and were very polite and helpful. It is a dated hotel, but clean, quiet, and well maintained. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay near Williams (it is very close) and who understands that old does not mean of lower value.

When making my reservation, I had asked for a quiet room, and was very pleased that my end unit against the office was indeed quiet. I felt safe, and slept well. The owners are clearly trying to update this 50's motel, for instance, with fresh exterior unit doors, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, new bedspread, and new desk lamps, but my room... More

Traveling on a bike through N.E. I found this hotel in Williamstown. I was skeptical at first, it is a 60's looking motel but room was clean, bed comfortable, wifi screaming fast, TV large screen. It had a great price and as long as you don't expect a 60's hotel to be what it can not be, you will be... More

We were looking for an inexpensive and clean hotel from which to explore the Berkshire area. The Northside motel was relatively inexpensive compared to the other hotels/motels in the area. It's locate right across the street from the campus of Williams College and walking distance to some of the shops and restaurants as well as the Clark Museum. The rooms... More

Dated motel in a good location for a small college town. Décor has not been updated in a good while Rooms are cramped and obviously reconfigured from a previous use However, even with a room on the main street through town and across the street from a college dorm, it was quiet and clean. Adequate, and OK for the price.... More

looks like the vacuum doesn't work spider cob webs all over as we climbed the stairs to the second floor,,,,,for some reason these motels are being purchased by foreigners and are being run down to the point where they have to offer discounted prices in order to fill the rooms,,,a beautiful location that could afford much higher room rates,,if only... First of all, the staff at the front desk and the housekeeping people we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. The location is beautiful in the center of Williamstown. As for the property, a real let-down and looks nothing like the website photos which must be 10+ years old. This is the height of a hot summer and the pool... More

Stayed here for the Solid Sound Festival at Mass MOCA. Was very nervous based on prior reviews, but honestly it was just fine. our room was clean, the ac worked on the very hot night that we had, and the free continental breakfast was adequate as well. Like everything else, wifi was ok - sometimes would kick you out, but... More
