I went to school in Williams and go back several times a year so I know the area very well. When I am not staying long enough to rent a house, I always stay here. You need to know what you're getting in to with this place. its a little mom and pop shop. If they run to the grocery... More

We got the note-on-the-door treatment like the previous reviewer; the proprietors were "out leaf-peeping". That didn't bother us, for it was clear which room we were to occupy, but we were a tad surprised not to see them at all during the course of the evening. I don't mean by this that I have any time for those proprietors who... More

we arrived for a 2 night stay to a very informal greeting of a note on the door telling us which was our room and were then surprised to discover we were sharing a bathroom with other guests. Our fault for not checking in advance. We assumed all rooms were en suite. The room was good with a lovely big... More

I do not recommend doing business with this man. I made a reservation over the phone for two nights. The owner took my reservation from his car while he was driving. When he asked for my credit card number I asked him to state his cancellation policy. He indicated there was a 14-day policy and if the cancellation was not... More

Let me start by saying I'm not a B&B person, but I was going up to cover a show at the Williamstown Theater Festival and thought I'd take a chance. And I'm very glad I did. From the warm greeting, to the comfortable house to the friendly cat (Angus), this could make me a B&B convert. The room was very... More

This bed & breakfast had good bed, was clean and has a top location adjacent to the campus of Williams College and a 10-15-minute walk to the fine Clark Institute art museum. But it lacks the warmth I have come to expect from B&Bs, lacks welcoming space and chairs, and has a poor breakfast. Gluten-free meals may be a necessity... More

My friend & I travelled from NYC to Wmstown to see a play at the Festival and visit the newly renovated Clark Museum. We enjoyed this home and its central location, allowing us to walk to dinner, the theatre and the museum. Highly recommend this spot. I liked the GF almond pancakes more than my friend did but all in... More

The house was clean and well decorated. A note taped to the door was our greeting, our host was "unavailable". The first disappointment was written on the note, and should be a warning to any other potential guests, the rooms do not lock from the outside! The owner stated that this has been the way they have done things for... More

Like other reviewers, I was visiting with my high schooler on a tour of colleges, but when we arrived on a cold Sunday afternoon, we wanted nothing more than to nest in the cozy blue room (two beds and a private, roomy bath) to warm up and settle in. What a lovely, cozy room and full-of-character house, with a delicious... More

My family of four stayed for a short visit while touring Williams College. Our room was large and although we shared a bath, this was not a problem. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a nice sitting area to relax in and breakfast was delicious. Timothy was a wonderful host and we especially enjoyed Angus the cat! We... More
