This Inn is dated and awful. We only stayed one night (THANK GOD) on a tour of New England through Virgin. I agree with the earlier comment and cannot understand why Virgin are using this hotel when all of the other 7 hotels we stayed in were excellent. The town of Williamstown is just one street and there is nothing... more

I have been coming to Williamstown for over twenty years. I have stayed at most of the hotels in town over that time. I have stayed at The Williams Inn many times, but I had not been there in a while. The Williams Inn has a good location, but has always been a bit tired on the inside. However, The... more

Acceptable in most regards, but the walls are paper thin -- we could hear every word uttered in the room next to ours, even when the inhabitants were speaking in quiet voices. Don't stay here unless you have to. more

My wife has had business in the northern Berkshires recently and stayed three times at the Williams Inn in the last couple months. I went along for two of the trips and handled most of the arrangements. We stayed in each of a double-double, a "traditional king" and (from my wife's description of the stay without me) what must have... more

We stayed here as part of a New England tour booked through Virgin Holidays and I am at a lost as to why they would book us into a place like this when all the other hotels on the tour were pretty nice. We should have realised something was wrong at check-in as the lady on reception was surly to... more

It is a fairly attractive Inn, Was on a fall foliage tour through New England. Just spent one night, which was enough time there. The room was of a good size, but needed new bedding-on the lumpy side. Found no problem with the bathroom, and all was clean and tidy. The Inn was full with tour people and it seemed... more

We had a nice time staying at the Williams Inn. I was surprised by some of the negative reviews, because based on our stay, it was a pretty nice place. Not perfect, but on balance it was just fine. If you're looking for luxury or squeaky-clean or nouvelle, you won't find it here. It's an older property that has some... more

The hotel was lovely decorated and thank goodness for cable TV because it was the most exciting thing happening in this place. We arrived on a Sunday eveining as part of our New England tour and everything was closed. Although a lovely college town I was enraged that I missed out on another night in Rhode Island for Blandsville. We... more

I stayed at the Williams Inn for a night with my family in November, 2006. This hotel is badly in need of a renovation! It is 1970's era, and has not been renovated or changed at all since then. Our rooms were very small, had tacky floral wallpaper, the beds and pillows were hard.... with polyester sheets and bedspreads.....are you... more
