This Inn is best described as a visit to Grandma's house. The decor and facility are VERY dated, but the beds are comfortable, the food is good and the staff is friendly. Most importantly, you can walk to campus.

We had a really nice weekend at the Williams Inn. We were up there for a hockey tournament (which most hotels are not too excited about seeing a hockey team full of 11 and 12 year old boys!) We were welcomed in with smiles and treated wonderfully all weekend! Had our own "conference room" to hang out in. Staff was... More

Recently stayed at the Williams Inn, and was given a room in the upgraded section. Totally lovely space, big bathroom, comfy towels, while retaining the charm of the Inn as it used to be. Unfortunately it doesn't have amenities like a mini fridge or microwave in the room. It is super close to the college, which is why I was... More

Everything was clean and well-presented. The staff are extremely friendly and kind. The European-style continental breakfast is a must! The rooms are also quite large, and the bathrooms include both a bath and a shower. Everything was always in order. Highly recommended!

Since Williams College acquired the Inn, they have great rates for Williams parents including a nice breakfast, although we and the students do miss the now discontinued Sunday brunch. The bar / restaurant is great. The pet friendly policy is also great and they are well equipped with crates to accommodate students having their pet visit along with parents. Made... More

This inn is located right on the Williams campus which was perfect for me and my daughter as we were touring colleges. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast was so much better than those at mid-range hotel chains. (I was thrilled to see organic yogurt as one of the offerings!) Other reviewers have mentioned that the decor is dated,... More

I have been to the Williams Inn three times and it is truly one of my very favorite Inns/Hotels anywhere! It is charming, quaint and has more character than any Hotel Chain Establishment ever could have! I would never consider staying anywhere else in this area. I love the rose colored carpet, floral wallpaper, poster bed and rocking chair in... More

Walls are paper-thin, decor is from the 70s, heating units are cranky. Not any better than a Motel 6, and twice the price. I had a meeting going on in the room next door to me and I might as well have been in it myself, because I could hear every word. Decor is very dated -- pink carpets and... More

We periodically receive feedback that indicates that the age of the Inn and it's decor had a negative effect on a traveler's stay. It is our hope that our guests feel the overall charm of the Inn and enjoy the experience of traditional New England. We know that personal preference can vary and the pink carpet and floral wallpaper isn't... More

Best place to stay in Williamstown!!! Service was wonderful and the price was right. Everything we needed was there. We were there for a skating competition and the location could not have been better. We will be back next year.

The staff at the Inn were absolutely outstanding and made the experience very worthwhile. Most appreciated was when I woke up to find the cars blanketed in snow, and then an hour later they were all cleaned off by the grounds crew and shoveled out. The front desk was just as warm and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean... More

We know that the small things matter and try (when we can) to take away some of the stresses of traveling. There's no doubt that a brushed off car in the morning can get everyone off to a good start. More
