Stayed one night after driving from Boston - we had a 9 am tour scheduled at Williams College the next morning and wow am I glad I booked here. Inn is basically across the street from the Admissions office and about a three minute walk there. Room decor was quite dated but clean, warm and comfortable, and staff was very... More

I'm a Williams alum and was in town for an alumni event. The location of the Williams Inn is superb. The staff are friendly and met all my needs, though did not anticipate them. The chocolate croissants are the highlight of the continental breakfast. The walls are thin, and so I became more intimately acquainted with a snoring neighbor than... More

We appreciated the friendliness of the staff at the Inn and the convenient location to the campus and Clark Art Institute. However, we were overwhelmed by the amount of heat in our room (in March). Even after turning the heat OFF, we had difficulty sleeping. I kept thinking about how much oil it must take to keep an old inn... More

The pluses: friendly staff, a comfortable bed, a convenient location for visitors to Williams College, decent to good food in the hotel restaurant, and a spectacular New England setting. The minuses: unprofessional and incompetent staff (for example, no one responded to an email regarding a late check-in I sent days prior to my arrival, and my first day, my room... More

This Inn is best described as a visit to Grandma's house. The decor and facility are VERY dated, but the beds are comfortable, the food is good and the staff is friendly. Most importantly, you can walk to campus.

We had a really nice weekend at the Williams Inn. We were up there for a hockey tournament (which most hotels are not too excited about seeing a hockey team full of 11 and 12 year old boys!) We were welcomed in with smiles and treated wonderfully all weekend! Had our own "conference room" to hang out in. Staff was... More

Recently stayed at the Williams Inn, and was given a room in the upgraded section. Totally lovely space, big bathroom, comfy towels, while retaining the charm of the Inn as it used to be. Unfortunately it doesn't have amenities like a mini fridge or microwave in the room. It is super close to the college, which is why I was... More

Everything was clean and well-presented. The staff are extremely friendly and kind. The European-style continental breakfast is a must! The rooms are also quite large, and the bathrooms include both a bath and a shower. Everything was always in order. Highly recommended!

Since Williams College acquired the Inn, they have great rates for Williams parents including a nice breakfast, although we and the students do miss the now discontinued Sunday brunch. The bar / restaurant is great. The pet friendly policy is also great and they are well equipped with crates to accommodate students having their pet visit along with parents. Made... More

This inn is located right on the Williams campus which was perfect for me and my daughter as we were touring colleges. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast was so much better than those at mid-range hotel chains. (I was thrilled to see organic yogurt as one of the offerings!) Other reviewers have mentioned that the decor is dated,... More
