The hotel would be considered a bit dated at first glance, but it feels like it belongs in the town and felt clean for an older style building (not commonly the case for this situation). All the accommodations and amenities were rather nice given the "dated" look. Food was rather good and the staff was nice upon my arrival, stay,... More

Spent 4 nights here being a tourist and attending a conference. We found this to be a very charming inn and with a very friendly desk staff. Our room was large and comfortable and well equipped. Had a very brief noise problem on one evening when the occupant of the next room was making a telephone call, speaking French. He... More

I stayed at the hotel to attend a conference, which was also hosted by the hotel. It was within walking distance of the Clark Institute, which I visited, and on the bucolic campus of Williams College. You can also walk a short distance to get to the restaurants in town. It was very convenient to exploring historic Williamstown. The accommodations... More

The Williams Inn sits proudly on the rotary of the town overlooking all that passes, including time itself. The only thing that is up to date, one is tempted to say, out of its time, are the prices they charge. $165 for a Saturday night stay with a continental breakfast in a room that has a TV set back so... Our group made accommodations at this facility several years ago, with the understanding that renovations would occur before our event. This week we discovered nearly all of the renovations were never done. This is one of the oldest hotels I've ever stayed in and would never recommend this place to anyone. The air smells slightly moldy, and finishes are dusty... More

The rooms and facilities are very nice. Comfortable, clean, spacious. Breakfast was good, although the dining room chairs are ancient, uncomfortable and need reupholstering. The problems I ran into were so first-world. Remember in the last century when hotels would provide electrical devices and plug them in for you behind the furniture so the wires would be out of sight?... More

The decor is more traditional than we are used to, but our stay was comfortable. Very large room, bath had tub and separate shower. Nice breakfast buffet included. Plus: operable window allowed us to have fresh air. Minus: because of older decor, the electrical plugs are low, so less device friendly. Bus to Boston at the front door.

The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Breakfast came with the price of the room and was available at 7:00 AM with fresh fruit and ample cereals. The hotel is in a very peaceful area of Williamstown - but close enough to the Clark Art Museum and the Williams College Museum of Art to be able... More

Quaint hotel in a prime location. Don't expect modern amenities, but, expect a nice comfortable hotel with clean rooms and excellent service. All the staff are beyond nice, accommodating with assistance or directions and always smiling. I accidentally booked for the wrong date and when I showed up, they quickly fixed it and no additional charges or pain. While there... More
