Excellent location. Two night stay. The room was quiet, expansive and clean, looking out on a pretty courtyard garden and little pond. Beds very comfortable. Terricloth robes provided. Bathroom had separate tub and shower with two basins and separate changing area. Did not use the full-service restaurant, room service or the exercise room so can't comment on those. However did... more

We came up for an overnight stay for ski trip...wanted to stay at the Hampton Inn but it was all booked. So Orchard Inn called us last minute after putting us on a wait list so we chose this over Comfort Inn thinking it might be a little fancier, but it's probably not as good. I always check my beds... more

Stayed here as part of a Tauck tour- I didn't care for it- They assigned a room to us that already had someone in it for starters. Location is weird- right on a main street that has a strip mall feel- Dunkin Donuts was right across the street- Room was large as others have described- layout of the hotel is... more

This was sheer luxury. A 4-night stay in an amazing hotel in a lovely location for touring the Berkshires. Our 'Fireplace room' was absolutely huge with an equally large bathroom, double basins and dressing area. The Orchards is relatively small and friendly with lots of personal touches. The staff were extremely welcoming, especially young Mitch on late reception. Breakfast, chargeable... more

The Orchards accomodations were very nice, roomy and clean. I stayed one night and found the front desk and room service attentive. Bed was comfortable. Decor a bit dated but in line with the area. Did not eat in the hotel so no comments on this. more

Just came back from The Orchards. We were there 3 years ago and it was a disaster. However we like tha location and they have renovated all their rooms in the past 3 years, AAA gives it 4 diamonds so we tried it again. It definitely is not a 4 diamond hotel for the following reasons. The lobby and public... more

We stayed one night at The Orchards while visiting Williams College with my daughter. The hotel was wonderful, especially after a day of touring the campus in freezing rain. We had a deluxe King which had a fireplace, large bathroom, and large TV. We ordered room service which was very good. All staff persons were very helpful and even let... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night to see the Remington Exhibit at The Clark. I had read the reviews at Trip Advisor and thought we'd really enjoy it, but it wasn't what we expected. We usually stay at boutique hotels or B&Bs and thought that was what we would be getting, but it is just another standard... more

We drove from the northern suburbs of Philadelphia and arrived early in the evening. Charming describes the atmosphere of the entire hotel. We stayed in a courtyard king deluxe room that looked exactly as the website portrays. It was lovely, spacious and clean. The lighting in the room and the bathroom created a very romantic atmosphere. It had the charm... more

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Orchards. We were on the first floor and did hear some heavy walkers above us, but all in all, we had a wonderful stay. Wish we would have been around for dinner at the Gala restaurant, but the 2 breakfasts were amazing. All staff members were very gracious. Bed was too firm... more
