This was our first trip to the Berkshires. We were there for a wedding weekend and our hosts had picked The Berkshire Hills Motel for our lodging, and we're so glad they did. The location is perfect- just a mile or so before Williamstown and situated by a beautiful rushing stream. It has the charm of a mid-century roadside motel-... More

we were obliged to rent for three nights even though we needed only two nights to go to a wedding at an exorbitant price for the quality of the room, the extremely poor breakfast and a very cold and formal welcome. Usually when you arrive in such places the host or hostess makes you feel like you have come to... More

The Berkshire Hills Country Inn is a lovely motel with beautiful grounds, including a very pleasant stream. Jill Ryder, the owner, is warm and welcoming, as was Daniel, who checked us in. They also welcomed our little Shih Tzu, Leander. When we next visit, I will feel that we are "coming home".

I recently had the need to accommodate two business colleagues nearby my home and selected Berkshire Hills based on location and reviews. We were not disappointed. Jill the owner is so warm and welcoming and the place is spotlessly clean. Rooms are available on road side or river side, both were very nice and peaceful. Offering a generous breakfast buffet of... Following a day of Great day of skiing we decided to stop a see the availability of an overnight stay. Very pleasantly pleased ...our warm room, canopy bed, great location with a wonderful Mexican restaurant just down the street....I would definitely stay there next time we ski!

great owners, awesome location, beautiful grounds, free amazing breakfast each morning, plenty of things to do around town! we loved this place for a long weekend and it is in a wonderful northern Berkshires area.

We stayed here for one night to break our journey from Stowe to Cape Cod. It was a very pretty location and the room was adequate but did need a little modernising. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment - only offering a cold buffet which was really only cereal and a selection of breads. Williamstown was a strange... More

We stayed here on our way to Cape Cod after staying in Niagara Falls, so was really only on a night stop to break up the long journey. Very lovely setting, a little too cold to go in the swimming pool but nice that there was the option. Unfortunately the owner wasn't expecting us as our booking had been taken... More

With numerous glowing reviews reported, the wise old owl of Tripadvisor rates the Berkshire Hills Motel at almost the same level as the St. Regis in NYC. In reality the two establishments are worlds apart in terms of quality and amenities (as well as about $800 per night) . However, if you dear fellow traveler, keep in mind that the... More

The Motel is in an area about 2 miles from the town centre and you need a car to get to restaurants and shops. The motel is in a beautiful setting and there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the views and the tranquillity. The reception area is quaint but very welcoming and the owner dealt with our party... More
