My husband and I went stayed at Hillside House this past fall -- what a lovely place to stay. Julia and Ed make you feel entirely welcome. The house is stunning -- a fantastic view of the scenery nearby, and easy access from the B&B to Northampton, Amherst, and other towns nearby.

My wife and I have stayed here on multiple occasions, it's a beautiful spot with a great view of the Pioneer Valley. Both rooms are beautiful, although I would recommend the pink room (huge windows looking out onto a beautiful flower garden). Little perks like wine on the deck with the owners (in the warm weather). Breakfast was the real... More

My husband and I have been to Hillside House several times over the past several years and have always had a lovely experience. The rooms are lovely (we've stayed in both) and Ed and Julia are great hosts. The food is great and the little extras (flowers in the rooms), wine at cocktail hour are just added perks! If you... We recently spent a weekend at the Hillside House and can't say enough good things about it. The whole place was immaculate, the grounds were lovely, the food was delicious and beautiful, and the hosts were gracious. We were given suggestions on where we could go for dinner, as well as directions to the events we were in the area... More

The location is great for adventuring through the Valley’s hills and is an easy drive to and from area attractions. We enjoyed exploring the property during a great weather weekend. The pink room is fun for socializing and has stunning views of the early morning sunrise. Our hosts were very attentive and caring throughout our stay. The breakfast prepared each... More

We have been going to the Hillside House for years, and can't say enough wonderful things about it-in fact, we love it so much and it has been so special to us, that we even got engaged here over a glorious Spring weekend a few years ago. The Hillside House is enjoyable in every season-whether you want to sit in... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hillside House for a few days while we were moving to Amherst. We wanted something with access to Northampton and Amherst- nearby but quiet, somewhere to unwind a bit after a day of running around. The owners are so nice, helping with directions and amazing breakfasts. As we read before we booked, since... More

We just finished a weekend at the Hillside House. I was hesitant as the Hillside is very small, only two rooms. We stayed in the larger of the two rooms which is an airy suite with two chairs, a couch and coffee table and windows allowing for a beautiful view as well as a bedroom area and a private bath....
