My wife and I checked in here after staying one night and checking out of one of the motels on route 9 in Shrewsbury.(It was a very bad experience). This inn (which is more like a small hotel than a bed and breakfast) was charming, quiet, clean, in a quiet residential neighborhood in the historic town of Westborough. The price was very... More

We stayed two nights at this lovely old Inn in January 2014. The weather outside was frightfully but inside was cozy and warm. The decor in the room we occupied was pretty dated and they need to remove some of the chairs because there just isn't enough room to move, but the bed was clean and very comfortable. Again, the... It's an inn, not a hotel, so just be clear about that, and don't expect hotel services and convenience. Given that, this is a great place. You serve yourself breakfast in the basement (not exciting, but OK), and if the coffee hasn't been brewed yet, then just go upstairs and beep for the owner, who will promptly make some more.... More

This property is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and the owners are very nice. It is located downtown so it is easy to walk to various businesses. Had a wonderful time. Would stay there again.

The Westborough Inn is a cross between a B and B and a hotel. With 25 rooms, it is bigger than most B and B. Breakfast is in a basement living room/kitchen/dining area. Self serve bread, cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee/tea, but no hot food. You can watch movies in the living room area. Online reservations may quote a price... More

Thank you for the review. It is important for us to know how many guests will be arriving for each room reserved so we can have the room and breakfast arranged accordingly. When guests arrive with more in the party than on the reservation we accommodate them the best we can and also add $10 for each additional unexpected guest.... More

Charlotte and George are great, very friendly and helpful. Here is my summary: pros 1. room very comfortable... More

Traveling for business is never fun, and staying at a run of the mill hotel often means an even more boring stay. This Inn was a wonderful place to stay. It had unique collectible-type decorations reminiscent of my grandmother's house, and you could really tell that this is a family-owned business. When I went down for breakfast in the morning,... I can easily say this is one of the very best lodgings I've ever stayed at! The innkeepers, George and Charlotte, were so nice and very hospitable throughout our stay. Once we arrived, George quickly gave us a nice map of the area and many personal tips of local dining options (of which there are many choices within walking or... More

all the recommendations are spot on. I took their advice and stayed there on Oct 2012. Quiet, clean, pleasant, has everything you need (unless you need a pool and room service). Professional and kind owners. So much nicer than staying at the large hotels. Feels like home. What a nice experience, I will return there on any future trips to... More
