In the mid-Cape area, in the beginning of August, you would be hard pressed to find a better value. We spent a week at this HoJo and found the service to be outstanding and the staff/owners were most friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We don't usually spend too much time at a hotel while on vacation, and this was the case... More

Advice: Find somewhere else to stay. Anywhere, run far far away! From the outside, it doesn't look bad. Decent outdoor pool, a small indoor pool, seems maintained. But once inside, shudder, nasty. Our expectations were simple. We just wanted a clean, maintained room. We didn't care about the décor, the room didn't need to have all the bells and whistles.... More

Our family stayed here for 5 days. The first room we were give had a broken toilet and we had to move to another room. The indoor pool had a oil slick on top and would not allow my kids to go near the pool. Our room with a playground view had flies in the bathroom. The playground consisted of... More

We stayed here for four days. It's a super-weight-watchers scheme here as the breakfast is absolutely horrible. We have had about 45 nights in about 30 different motels during the last two years, and of all, with a distance, this motel serves the worst breakfast ever. Only the cheapest stuff, synthetic juice (it never saw an orange), juice dispenser inoperable,... More

We checked into this hotel on 8/1/12 - had booked a two bed suite. Arrived and hotel clerk took my credit card into the back as stated with other recent stays. Very strange. Our suite was room 167 - but on the second floor with no elevators and no one to help bring up all the luggage. Room decor very... More

We were shocked to say the least when we arrived-the rug on the flooring outside the rooms was torn and worn to the plywood. Our room had a horrible, previously smoked in odor-STUNK. The toilet would not stop running so we were moved to another room. That room stunk, but luckily not as badly as the first room. The dresser handle was... More

First off the desk clerk disappeared into the office with my credit card. There is no reason that a guests credit card should ever be out of sight. This in itself makes the hotel a poor choice. At 10:30 pm we discovered the ancient a/c unit doesn't work at all. Judging from the amount of dust inside it, it has... More

I haven't been to the cape for a long time so I took a quick vacation n end up stay at Howard Johnson inn. This place is fabulous n customer service is excellent. The place is pretty clean n the price is very reasonable. Even the manager offer me a discount if I want to stay an extra night. I... More

So.. we wanted just a place to lay our head late late at night, planned to take the ferry very early the next day to the island. What a mistake! First off.. we pricelined it.. so, knowing Hyannis we figured we would be ok anywhere in Hyannis.. didn't really notice the small corner of West Yarmouth that was included in... More
