I really enjoyed the Bayside Resort. It was a little older looking from the outside, but I am a clean freak and when I check the room it was very clean. I checked the bottom of the floor lamps, they were dust and hair free and the bathroom looked great. I was impressed. Like I said it is not brand... more

I chose this hotel for my family ( husband and twin boys) based on the ammenities it had, I saw on their website that they had a small beach (on lewis bay, where you can't stay) - and thought my twins would love that. They also have a game room, food served outside near the pool/sand, and fridges in the... more

My daughter had stayed here once before and said it was great. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. The indoor pool was so nice. The deck and outdoor pool looked great--too bad it was October. They over look a pond and it is a wonderful view (if you can't get the ocean, this is a great second) I can't say... more

There were three of us staying at the hotel and we were all so impressed with the spacious room, cleanliness of the property, wonderful pool, sauna and hot tub and the nice continental breakfast. However, the most notable part of the experience was the gracious, hospitable and helpful hotel personnel. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning people were... more

Is it normal to be sad when you check out of a hotel? Well, even if it isn't normal, we were! We always are when we leave the Bayside. I worked in the hotel business for 13 years and know, from experience, that the hallmark of great customer service is making it look easy. Based on my 8 visits to... more

We had a generally nice stay at this hotel. The bad- although we checked in on a Friday afternoon and requested a room near the pool, they gave us the room that was absolutely the farthest away from the pool. When I questioned this, the clerk made no attempt to find us a different room, just said "we're pretty full".... more

This was our second stay here with Grandchildren. Our Granddaughter says this is her favorite place to stay on the Cape. It is ideal having both indoor and outdoor pools along with a nice hot tub. The breakfast each morning was nicely done and more than adequate. Along with make it yourself waffles, there were pastries, several cereals, bagels, yogurt... more

My husband and I booked a 5-day golf package through the resort (end of June 2008). The resort is very centrally located, which made it easy for us to enjoy some really great courses all over the Cape. (Our fav was the Old Barnstable Grounds. Awesome course!) The resort is indeed very clean, and very smoothly run. We were, however,... more

Stayed for long weekend. Please remember, this is best you'll get on the cape. It's on main strip, so doesn't have the Cape feel and lot of traffic. Rooms--- clean (which is most impt) but very cramped. We stayed in room 266- Deluxe 2 double beds. Near the outdoor pool exit. Beds so soft my husband and I woke up... more

I agree with most of the reviews on this hotel. I did expect the people working there to be more helpful based on what i read though. The rooms were nice and clean, and we loved the pools. The beds were comfy, good breakfast, nice view outside, game room. Ok now the not so good : Food at the pool... more
