I had a great time while staying here with a friend. She booked 6 months out and was able to secure one of the 5 private rooms. Although tiny, it served the purpose of providing clean and comfortable beds and space for suitcases. The staff is amazing. Friendly, hard working, knowledgeable and approachable. I can't say enough good things about... More

In a 16 bed dorm but with loads of space. It's a but out of the way and you'll need either a car or bike or you do take the bus. Small island so it can be done in a day or two. Big benefit is the free breakfast with delicious pancakes

Lovely rustic setting; large yard; helpful staff. The women's dorm and bathroom were clean and spacious. The kitchen was also large and included several stoves and refrigerators. The bus that takes people to various places on the island stops right in front of the hostel.

Nice hostel, clean, well kept and tidy. Staff friendly, and helpful - shout out especially to Geraldine! Stayed in women's dorm and met some wonderful fellow travellers - helped each other with advice and touring tips. Breakfast was pancakes, toast, oatmeal, coffee/ teas. Did some grocery shopping for eggs and yogurt along with items for dinner. Refrigerators to store food... More

This hostel stays half a mile from West Tisbury where you may easily access public transportation. It is very clean in and out, and well maintained. Everything functions great. No wonder after I learned this hostel is the first in US that was built as a hostel. The hostel has a comprehensive big kitchen that may compare with that in... More

A buddy and I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights, checking in during the off-season on Friday 9-27-13. I've never stayed at a hostel before so I was not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and the staff. The hostel is very expensive, all things considered with Martha's Vineyard accommodations ranging much, much higher than... More

This is one of the best hostels I have been in: very friendly staff, warm atmosphere, cosy and charming rooms and awesome pancakes at breakfast in the morning. The communal area is very nice too. The only annoying bit is the location, as you have to either take the bus or ride a bike to go anywhere on the island... More

I am flexible when I travel, and I am not to the point of needing 5 Star accomodations. Never in the places I stay, usually, for long, anyway. Love this place! Yummy pancakes in A.M., brewed coffee, served with love by the charming Danielle, comfy and clean beds and showers, the downstairs women's baths sporting Impressionist paintings (sorta) made by... I loved the hostel and my time on Martha's Vineyard. It is beautiful. However, I contracted Lyme Disease from a tick bite that I got while biking between the hostel and Edgartown during my stay there. At the time I didn't think anything of the bite, and only realized when I got severe symptons (headaches, neck stiffness, paralysis on the... More

We stayed here from July 22 to the 24, and had a great time. We rented a private room for 2, which had a fan in the window, bunk beds, and a little nightstand. The rooms were small, but we were really only there to change and sleep, so they did the trick. The beds aren't super comfortable, but they... More
