This is the worst Hotel I have ever seen. The building outside and lobby looked clean, but that is where it ended. As soon as you turn the corner past the desk the carpets get dirty and dingy looking, the paint down the hallways is cracked and peeling and the musty smell hits you before you reach the elevator. We... more

The Quality Inn West Springfield, MA should be avoided at all costs. The hotel is old and shabby. Breakfast was sub-par and was the worst we have ever had at a Choice Hotel. Although the desk clerk was bright and cheerful, he did not make up for the poor condition of the hotel. more

We came here from the Econo Lodge down the road, seeking an upgrade. We changed rooms three times--smokey smell, dirtly linens, bathroom light not working, tub dirty, etc, but finally settled in. It actually wasn't that bad after that. The staff was patient and nice. The free breakfast was well stocked with the basics. The beds were comfortable, rooms relatively... more

We pulled into the parking lot and noticed laundry hanging over the balconies. It appeared that people where living there. Also, very young children playing with scooters in the parking lot. All clues that this was not a regular hotel. People are living here and it is a DUMP! The "residents" throw trash off of the balconies and loiter in... more

In my 15 years of business travel I cannot recall placing myself, and my colleagues in such a dangerous situation. I am ashamed that I did not take the approrpiate action to turn around after feeling uncomfortable. I hope the following summary of my 1-night stay will keep others from making the same mistake. 1) Upon check-in there are 3... more

OK, just for the record I have stayed in budget hotels about 100 days a year for my job for the past 10 years, so I am no hotel snob. This is the worst. The lobby was full of screaming homeless people. The room stank of vinegar, and all furniture surfaces were covered with dust and dried, caked-on debris and... more

This was by far the most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed at. Including stays at motel 6. First of all we went to check in to the hotel and no one helped us for about 6 minutes and the person who did help us came out in their pajamas. Second we went up to our room and it appeared... more

We walked into our room on the 2nd floor and my daughter immediately asked "what is that smell"?. It smelled musty and smokey. The hotel used to allow smoking but banned it within the last couple of years, but the smoke smell still lingers. The first night our toilet would not stop running, the next day we notified the front... more

Booked reservation for 2 rooms / 1 night directly with hotel online. Printed confirmation reflecting $72/room per night. Billed $82/room per night despite attempts to share with check-out person - "It doesn't matter". (Well, it does matter...) Checked in at midnight - rooms were frigid upon entrance. Adjusted temperature (ancient ventilation systems - loud and inefficient/ineffective). One room no heat... more

My first mistake was the 'name your price' deal thru Priceline. I have never had any trouble with Hotwire choices ~ I don't think I will use Priceline again... The Hotel ~ the only good thing I can say is that the bed was actually comfortable ~ aside from that... The room and the entire hotel is dirty. They have... more
