The innkeepers, Sue and Dan, demonstrated the utmost kindness, care, and attention to detail during our stay at the Tern Inn. The food they made/set out for breakfast was great, and they were accommodating to unique needs of ours. Our rooms were very comfortable, nice and contained everything we needed. Our family all together are completely behind this glowing review... More

We stayed at the Tern Inn over New Year's weekend. Sue and Dan are wonderful hosts who treat you like old friends. They are gracious and are pleased to meet your needs. Our room was cozy and immaculately clean. The beds were so comfortable! The dining room is a lovely room. Our breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order. Chef... More

We meant to write a review when we returned home from our Thanksgiving stay but as we were just talking about the week we booked for this summer we realized that we did not, so here it is. When the place we stayed in Chatham, for the past few years, closed we looked for another inn in the area. Luckily we... More

This is a long overdue, but necessary review. We were guests at the Tern Inn mid-October 2015 for 2 nights while there for a wedding. Dan & Suzanne, the innkeepers and hosts, were awesome! The Inn is convenient and really felt like we were at the Cape, rather than a motel. While the accommodations were just fine and as expected... More

There are tons of reasons to stay at the Tern Inn. It's in a residential neighborhood so there's no busy street. It's walking distance to Nantucket Sound beaches and easy driving distance to the bay, ocean and Pleasant Bay. It has its own pool and lots of grassy yard for kids to play. It's close to Chatham and Dennisport. There... More

We came down to the cape for a family gathering, and this place looked good so we got a room. What a pleasant surprise! Sue and Dan welcomed us like family, and couldn't have done more to make us feel at home. This is the kind of place where everyone is in a good mood and friendly, reflecting the great... More

Wonderful jewel on Cape Cod!! Dan & Sue opened up a room to accommodate my friends, that was shut down for the season. My friends absolutely enjoyed their stay. Dan & Sue made them feel right at home!! A warm, wonderful and very clean place to stay! Also, a big fan of your dads art work Sue, incredible. Thank you... More

Innkeepers, Dan and Sue know how to run an Inn. They are hospitable and pay attention to detail. The room was quaint with crisp sheets, fluffy towels and clean, clean, clean. Breakfast was homemade with no shortage of selection, from oatmeal with all the fixings, fresh fruits, omelets made to order and superb coffee too. Sue and Dan are locals... More

The proprietors, Dan and Suzanne, are life long cape cod natives who know how to give thier guests a first hand cape cod experience. The welcoming is warm and inviting, like long time friends you're meeting again. If you think you've forgotten to bring something, fear not! They have everything you'll need to have a relaxing experience. They even have... More

Dan and Suzanne the new owners are really pushing things up a notch. Lots of nice amenities in the rooms. Quiet neighborhood makes this gem perfect for the couple or family who don't want the hustle and bustle of Route 28. Although it's within walking distance you would never know it. Beach is a short walk or drive away. Breakfast... More
