This lodge is a classic motel building, old, but extremely well maintained and perfectly clean. We loved it. The owner is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast here means coffee (really good - by far the best we had as part of an included breakfast during our 3-weeks-trip) and the usual fat donut. Don't go to the "Breakfast Room" -... More

We stayed for 4 nights in September. Very clean and well maintained. Flat screen TV. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The location was good for us and breakfast was within walking distance (3 or 4 blocks). I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about, maybe there are new owners. If you expect a 4-star place for this... More

My boyfriend was visiting from England and we wanted to do something nice, away from typical MA ventures. My dad suggested we go to the Cape. I was nervous since it was Labor Day weekend that it'd be pricey for us. We found a very affordable price for Sunday at GuestLodge. We liked it enough that we saw the low... More

I was nervous about staying here after reading these reviews but as I've learned, don't put your full and complete trust in other's opinions. First, most reviewers write reviews because of what they consider THE WORST EXPERIENCE they've had. Second, people will make promises to themselves to write a review about THE BEST EXPERIENCE they've had but usually forget. Third,... More

The Guestlodge in West Dennis is located along a road without any charm, but very practical is you come by car, far from the see and without any view. The room rented was very clean, modern and with all the minimum comfort you can find in this kind of accomodation, but very dark and at the ground floor with just... More

If you drive a motorcycle you will not be welcome at this hotel. I booked a double queen bed room for 229.00. I checked in left to eat and then after about 5 minutes after returning got a call from the owner berating me for taking up 2 parking spots even though I have 2 adults staying in my room.... More

Normally, I don't stay at budget hotels. But I made a last minute decision to stay here based on the price and last minute availability. I was truly impressed. It is a well-located intimate hotel with a clean, ample sized pool. The hotel was freshly painted, updated, and the rooms were very comfortable. The rooms include a small but adequate... More

My husband and me stayed there for 1 night (we needed 1 night to spend on Cape Cod to help our daughter to settle with 2 little kids in rented condo, so we wanted to be near by). Location was very good to get everywhere we needed at that time. We requested no-smoking room, but room on the 1st floor... More

The pictures posted on travel sites and the reviews of other customers do not represent the true nature of this hotel. The rooms are very small with an exposed concrete wall at the head. The odor when entering the room is overpowering and no amount of fresh air gets rid of it. The tv is old, small, and barely visible... More

We stayed at the Barnacle on a whim. We stopped there due to location and wanted to stay in the area longer. The location is what we needed, the price is what we needed, and they had parking for our boat and trailer. They were accommodating. They had a fridge for our cheese and drinks, all ready for our wine... More
