Mid cape location works well, conveniently on 6A, so you can head out in an direction and nothing is too far away. Wisteria room comfortable, very clean, well maintained, dail. Sheila and Francis were attentive, warm and welcoming, had lots of helpful hints for where to go and what to do. Coffee was great! Fresh fruit was delicious, and anything... More

Great welcome from Sheila. Loved this B&B. We had the Wicker Room which was great. Very big room, comfortable bed, very large bathroom with spa bath. Lovely soft towels. The breakfast was great, lovely fresh fruit everyday and very nice cooked breakfast. There were cookies waiting for us when we got back in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Historic house well preserved and tastefully decorated. We were well received by Sheila and Frank. The Rose room was lovely although a bit noisy with the traffic from the road. Good bed, lovely fluffy towels and a great jet bath - just the thing after the drive up. Sheila provided a good breakfast with many choices, including some home baking.... More

Stayed at Bursley Manor at the end of August, 2014. Sheila, the owner, was so friendly and accommodating, it made me feel at home right away. Upon arrival, a nice glass of wine and friendly conversation with other guests was so enjoyable after a long day of travel. The casual environment is beautifully decorated with much attention to detail throughout... More

Bursley Manor as with many B & B's in New England date way back and have a great history. Each of its rooms has a different theme and are very interesting with the many antiques that are on display. The main house has been added on to many times and last remodeled in 2010. In my opinion the property lost... More

To Carl, I'm sorry you didn't like my Inn. I am confused about your comments on breakfast? I make it a rule to offer a hot breakfast as soon as I serve you your coffee and juice, in addition to all the other food on the table. As far as renovations the Inn is in the historic district and any... More

Sheila the owner has been able to offer both a homey feeling along with the privacy hotels offer in one. Her B & B is beautiful, has history and is well kept. We highly recommend staying there. We loved the Wicker room.

A most wonderful B n B can be found at the Bursley Manor in W. Barnstable MA! Sheila, the owner, is most accommodating whether it's the breakfast each morning or the rooms. The website does not do justice to this inn. It is beautiful, romantic and close to everything you could want to do on the Cape. Cannot wait to... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Bursley Manor ( which is one of the oldest houses on the Cape ) and Sheila could not have been a better host! We stayed at the Rose Room which is very spacious, even had an old fireplace and an ensuite bath. The room was nicely furnished with antiques as was the rest of... More

We had a wonderful three day stay at the Bursley Manor. Sheila the Inn keeper was so accommodating. Breakfast was provided each morning along with lots of fun discussions. We were also provided a nice glass of wine each afternoon. The inn was quite charming and decorated very comfortably. Our room with king size bed and bath were very spacious.... More

My wife and I wanted a quiet getaway on the Cape, away from the traffic and hassle of the Hyannis area. We found the Bursley and are SO happy we did! Sheila, the owner, is amazing - she takes excellent care of the charming place, and does her best to accommodate every request. She has great recommendations for restaurants and... More
