Excellent, large spacious bed rooms; Inn keepers were polite, sensitive, gracious and very helpful. The breakfast was hearty, healthy and with many choices. Fresh fruits and plenty of it was just right! The bathrooms were surprisingly modern and with great amenities. Peace and tranquil atmosphere....close to the highway, great internet connection, great attention to details, plenty of drinking bottled water.... More

It was lovely to sit outside and watch the wildlife coming down to the numerous feeders. The breakfast is great and the room was very large for such an old building. We only used the whirlpool bath once but it was a nice addition. Whilst the house is on the old main road there is almost no traffic during the... More

Just returned home from a great long weekend at the Cape. We stayed at the Bursley Manor for three nights. From the moment we walked in and met Sheila we knew we had chosen the perfect place to stay! Sheila treats her guests as friends; she is friendly and engaging. She always has treats on the table for you to... More

We stayed at the Bursley Inn for 2 nights in July. Sheila the Innkeeper was extremely gracious and accommodating. We appreciated the special touches: a glass of wine upon arrival, homemade cookies in the evening, and borrowing lawn chairs when we went exploring. The Inn, built in 1670, was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was super, a lot of choice... More

Mid cape location works well, conveniently on 6A, so you can head out in an direction and nothing is too far away. Wisteria room comfortable, very clean, well maintained, dail. Sheila and Francis were attentive, warm and welcoming, had lots of helpful hints for where to go and what to do. Coffee was great! Fresh fruit was delicious, and anything... More

Great welcome from Sheila. Loved this B&B. We had the Wicker Room which was great. Very big room, comfortable bed, very large bathroom with spa bath. Lovely soft towels. The breakfast was great, lovely fresh fruit everyday and very nice cooked breakfast. There were cookies waiting for us when we got back in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Historic house well preserved and tastefully decorated. We were well received by Sheila and Frank. The Rose room was lovely although a bit noisy with the traffic from the road. Good bed, lovely fluffy towels and a great jet bath - just the thing after the drive up. Sheila provided a good breakfast with many choices, including some home baking.... More

Stayed at Bursley Manor at the end of August, 2014. Sheila, the owner, was so friendly and accommodating, it made me feel at home right away. Upon arrival, a nice glass of wine and friendly conversation with other guests was so enjoyable after a long day of travel. The casual environment is beautifully decorated with much attention to detail throughout... More

Bursley Manor as with many B & B's in New England date way back and have a great history. Each of its rooms has a different theme and are very interesting with the many antiques that are on display. The main house has been added on to many times and last remodeled in 2010. In my opinion the property lost... More

To Carl, I'm sorry you didn't like my Inn. I am confused about your comments on breakfast? I make it a rule to offer a hot breakfast as soon as I serve you your coffee and juice, in addition to all the other food on the table. As far as renovations the Inn is in the historic district and any... More

Sheila the owner has been able to offer both a homey feeling along with the privacy hotels offer in one. Her B & B is beautiful, has history and is well kept. We highly recommend staying there. We loved the Wicker room.
