My first disappointment was that I did not get a room with a view of the lake; however, when I got to my room, I found an open bottle of water, half empty near the coffee maker. That just made the whole room feel unclean to me. The room was also in desperate need of a renovation as a shelf... More

The Wellesley College Club is basically the only game in town--the only hotel in which to stay if you have to be at Wellesley and don't have a car. I found it somewhat expensive for what it offers-- $175 per night for a smallish, though neat and clean room, with wi-fi and cold buffet breakfast included. But it cannot be... More

The rooms are petite but functional - beds are comfortable, the free WiFi is quite good. The lounge is a lovely room with 2 whole walls of windows, one side of which faces the lake. The dining room opens onto a wonderful patio which overlooks a lawn and the lake, as well. Lovely place for any meal, as it is... More

We stayed at the College Club one night and look forward to returning for a longer visit. Our second floor room overlooked the lawn and lake. It was small and pristine, with older furnishing and fixtures, kind of reminiscent of my dorm room. Breakfast choices consisted of quiche, turkey sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cold cereal, yogurt, and so forth. The... More

We hosted a family reunion at the Club on a beautiful day, visiting and lunching on the wonderful patio which faces the lake. Several of the group opted to hike around the lake, with others thoroughly enjoying the view. Dinner, served at a beautifully set table in the dining room, was delicious. I was impressed by the staff who were... More

Excellent location, but some rooms are very small and dark. The breakfast was not fresh - fruit or pastries--they need to freshen up and then it could be first class. The service was very good and location was great

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Wellesley Club. I chose it because of the convenience (I was picking up my daughter at Wellesley), but found others reasons to like this place. My room was small, but clean and inviting. I did not have a view of the lake, but enjoyed a run around the lake in the morning. The... More

We stayed here 1 evening, as we were attending a party in the same building. It was perfectly convenient, as we didn't have to drive anywhere afterwards. Our room was on the ground floor facing the lake. It was a beautiful view. The wall facing the lake was brick and the rest of the room was dark wood. The room... More

We sometimes go to Wellesley for appointments and have stayed at The Wellesley College Club before. There are not many rooms in the club but when we go, if a room is available, we will stay there. The location on the campus cannot be topped. Second time we've submitted a review because the club deserves it.

This club has a handful of rooms that non-members can rent. The club is right on campus, and therefore very convenient. Our room was small and a bit outdated but comfortable. There is an individual cup coffee maker, wifi and a tv. We also had a spectacular view of the lake right outside our window. Breakfast is included: coffee, tea,... More
