Just completing a two week stay while work is being done on our house. While the room "shows" well, staying there is less than a joy. Of the six lights in the room, two had burned out bulbs. The hotel is located in a scenic location and the price can't be beat for an expensive city like Boston. However, the room we got had poor airconditioning and the window was obstructed by structures just few feet away barring any view. Room service did not change the bed sheet on the sofa bed. This is a good budget choice. My room had a kitchen and living room area. Clean and pretty well maintained. There was a little paint missing in the bathroom and part of the knob fell off the shower. If you hope to catch a Red Sox game on NESN, don't go to this hotel. They have satellite TV and it does not carry that channel. We were chagrined to discover this, since we are huge fans. Good alternative to staying in Boston if price is a concern. Nice area, clean rooms. We didn't utilize the kitchenette but it is a good bonus. About 20 minutes from the city. A Westin located next door had a great bar. Get to the lobby early or the bagels will be all gone! more
