I love staying at the Homestead Hotel in Waltham, MA. I've used this hotel many times over the past 2 years whenever I have to return to the Boston area to visit family or get to doctor's appointments or just visiting friends. The rates are reasonable for the location and the rooms have amenities that appeal to me; kitchen with... more

I chose the Homestead Studio Suites Hotel because of the reasonable price. A room was listed at $74.99. This is an incredible cost savings for a room in the Boston area. So I booked it online. The online pictures and description of the site were good. However, when I got there, the hotel was better than expected. The room was... more

I would reccomend this for a longer stay due to the inclusion of the kitchen. No real problems here just the location is hard to find if you are not familier with the area. If you are looing to visit Boston pay a little more and get a hotel downtown or at least near some transport links. Very good price. more

Stayed here on a Saturday and got the impression that they staff down for the weekends as most of their business comes from business travelers. Called the front desk on two different occasions and got no answer. The room did not have shampoo, clothes hangers or extra pillows/blankets. The room guide said that there was "an extensive selection of toiletries... more

This hotel was the same as most extended stay facilities. No frills, just a room, much like an apartment with a kitchenette. There are no amenities and no extras, except for great laundry. It was clean and the staff were friendly and accomodating, finding extra pillows, detergent, even tea bags. If you ask you can get some of the toiletries.... more

We stayed 2 nights there and it was terrible. There was a few bugs walking around the floor. The central AC was working all night and very annoying. In the bathroom there was no cups and after a full day of being in the city we came back to an untouched room that they didn't clean up. You have to... more

I lived here for a dreadful 6 months for a temporary job assignment. My company selected this jewel (NOT) due to the fact that it was the cheapest place in town. The rooms are small and have a mini kitchen (just like all those extended stay places). The walls are thin and the bed linens thinner. Horrible matress and poor... more

So I stayed there last night, even AFTER reading the reviews for this place. It wasnt so bad...ok so I might have been put off by the guests that were there as i checked in. I also was not so impressed by the hotel staff, one of them was great and she was friendly. However the other guy couldnt find... more

For $89 a night it wasn't that bad. Rooms were clean for the most part, but certainly not up to the standards of a decent hotel. Staff was courteous given the Hotel is not a major chain hotel (i.e. Hilton). The hallways did have an odor as reported in a previous review. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at... more

While I was looking for hotels for corporate stays for my company, I had the displeasure of visiting this hotel. The location was great, but the condition was horrible for a newer hotel. The hallways had a foul odor and appeared very diry. The rooms smelled and were not as clean as other hotels that I had visited. The odor... more
