I was astonished at the wonderful job that this hotel did under the direction of the event planner at my daughter's Bat Mitzvah last May. From the minute that he took over our planning things could not have been easier - from the planning to the set-up to the execution of the event itself. The event planner oversaw every single... more

This hotel offers plenty of room, a restaurant, bar, and above-average gym facilities. The staff was pleasant and very attentive. Guest rooms feature a living area and separate bedroom - plenty of room for anyone. The work desk is very functional, making it ideal for business travel. My only suggestion/request would be a thorough cleaning and entertainment upgrade. The carpeting... more

I stayed at Double tree Waltham, MA for 4 nights as part of a business trip to Boston. It is an all suite hotel with excellent service. Being a Hilton Honours member, I was welcomed back to the Double Tree chain and was offered their delicious cookie. The suite is very nice with a living room, bedroom and a bathroom.... more

We haven't stayed in Doubletree suites before, but have been at Doubletrees. This is primarily a business hotel but on a weekend is a fun place to stay. Suites are ample and well equipped and attractively furnished. Nice pool, very good hot tub, and good restaurant. We had a family package(grandchildren staying with us one night) that provided a breakfast... more

Nice hotel in terms of rooms. Nothing other than a Costco within walking distance. Staff is not unpleasant but certainly they have little interest in being especially friendly. Front desk staff especially perfunctory. Lousy service in bar (only place to eat on Sundays)--took almost an thirt yminutes to get soup that turned out to be cold. more

I travel three to four days a week on business. My travels take me from Maine to Arizona. So, in terms of hotels I've seen them all. What is important to me in staying at a hotel goes beyond the "get in the game' basics...a comfortable bed, a room where i can relax and also work, good food. To me,... more

I have stayed at the Doubletree twice for business. Overall the hotel is a good place to stay for a business trip. The rooms are large with a separate sitting area with a tv, and they are also clean. Internet access has been good as well. What this hotel lacks are some of the modern features that newer hotels have... more

We stayed at the Doubletree Waltham last year for a Seminar in Watertown so it was close and convenient. Everything was fine and above average. This year, not so much. We were in Boston for a family dinner on Thanksgiving. Fighting our way out of the city in the holiday traffic we didn't arrive until 7PM. On check-in they read... more

Don't stay here if you are visiting Boston. When my husband made the reservation, he was told it was a 22 minute ride on the T. The T station was a few minutes away, but, it took us 45 minutes for the first trip and almost 1 1/2 hours the second day due to problems on the track. The hotel... more
