For the past two to three years I have been staying at this hotel, only due to the cost being relatively inexpensive. There have been many changes during this time, but recent changes reflect an overall deterioration in management, although it was never great. Every stay at The Lakeside Inn has been punctuated with issues. In spite of what management... More

Thank you for your comments and continued patronage. It appears that you have stayed here numerous times. we are sorry that on your last stay, it was less than adequate. However I would have been more than happy to try and sort through all of your concerns. We look forward to your future stay. Please feel free to let us... More

This past week, my boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for the 6th or 7th time (we live far apart and meet midway once a week to spend time together). I am horrified at the interaction we had with the property manager. Let it be known, I was very close to writing a review previously, after having read some... More

Stayed in the area because I had to be at a meeting in Wakefield early the next morning and first snow of the season was forecast. Looks like a lot of fresh paint and it was clean. Pluses: very comfortable bed, decent townie-type bar w an excellent burger, very good rate, very close to rt128 but in a quiet location.... More

Room Reaked of smoke! Asked for lake veiw room . Window seals were broken so veiw was foggy.(very disappointed) Room didn't feel real clean. Shower peeling. Grossed out didn't feel comfortable showering. Would not recommend. Only good thing was price but now I understand why so cheap.

We booked this through hotels.com as part of the package deal. Our room was clean, had everything we needed, and had a great view. My complaints would be the people staying there after leaving the bar. They were noisy but that wasn't the hotel's problem. Other issues I had were that the internet was down and I couldn't check into... More

I booked this hotel last minute to be in town for a family funeral. The previous reviews had me very worried, but my fears were eased upon check-in. The hotel employees at the front desk were very helpful, friendly, and professional. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. This is an older hotel, but renovations are being made on the... More

Ok, this place is inexpensive, and if you're there on a Thursday night, head to the bar and you will witness one of the strangest open mike nights you could ever imagine - other than that, hey, you get what you pay for. Clean enough and kinda musty - proceed at your own risk.

Well. If you need a place to sleep in a roadtrip you can stay here if arrives late in this hotel. The major problem in my opinion is the conditions of the room (in my case room 151). The wall at the sude of the bathroom have holes in the same and the hotel puts a "silvertape" to fix this... More

We stayed for two days. Really great staff at the front desk, great view of the lake and the hotel room was very nice! Only complaint was that the room did have a minor smell to it at first. Honestly it's an older building so to me, that's to be expected. Great value as well!

I stayed here more than once. Second time I specifically requested a lake view room. Never got it . Old tvs, no breakfast, no Internet, or even a notepad or pen for that matter. I requested a dominos menu at the front desk. In which they could not even provide. Or an extra pillow. Was told to speak to manager... More
