My husband and I stayed at the Clark House in the Tisbury Room for four nights at the end of August. Since we were on a relatively tight budget, this worked out well for us, as the rooms are priced based on size and ammenities. The Tisbury is a smaller room with a private bathroom down the hall, but it... more

My husband and I stayed at The Clark House from Friday, Aug 10, 2007 until Tuesday, August 14, 2007. We had a wonderful time. The rooms are extremely clean and breakfast was delightful. The best part is Lisa - as we tried to run out in the mornings, she would remind us that we ought to consider reservations for dinner... more

My husband and I stayed at the Clark House for five days. While the weather wasn't great, this bed and breakfast was! Lisa is the consumate host - how can you beat coming back to fresh chocolate cookies and lemonade??? The rooms were great - we stayed in the Tisbury. A note for the Tisbury room, you do have to... more

We and our friends wanted the best possible experience on Martha's Vineyard at a moderate price. We found what we wanted and more by staying at the Clark House in Vineyard Haven. While Vineyard Haven is not centrally located, we were able to walk across the street for a bus to go to Edgertown, and then take a bus anywhere... more

The Clark House is everything a bed and breakfast on Martha's Vineyard should be. Lisa is a warm and friendly hostess and a super cook as well. The breakfast is substantial, the rooms well appointed, the grounds are maintained and her staff is friendly. She gladly takes the time to point you to things not to miss, and activities off... more

I recently stayed at the Clark House for one night in the Vineyard Suite. I must say, for being a bed & breakfast, the suite was very spacious and clean and the rest of the house was well maintained, accommodating and made one feel at home. Lisa was very helpful upon arrival with information on things to do and modes... more

As a scrapbook consultant, for the past five years I have brought a group of customers to the Clark House for a weekend retreat. I have toyed with the idea of staying on the mainland or seeking a larger venue. NO! The Clark House is MY place on the first weekend in March. And Lisa and Bud make it feel... more

Very nice Inn in a great location walking distance from ferry stop and great breakfast in the morning. For the price it is a great value... rooms can be a little close but it is a very homey bed and breakfast and very quaint. I will be going back soon. more

The innkeeper Lisa has just the right touch of being a host but giving you your space to make your own plans. The house is very convenient to the downtown of Vineyard Haven, the most "real town" on the island, with a nice diversity of visitors and island year-round residents encompassing all walks of life - artisans, plumbers, lawyers, merchants,... more

We stayed at the Clark House on Martha’s Vineyard for three days. The house is conveniently located, and the room was comfortable. Lisa adds a personal touch by hanging a tapestry with your initial on your door. We stayed in the Chilmark Room which is on the top floor and features a small bathroom. Unfortunately, we were not greeted when... more
