My husband and I just returned to the mainland after a 3 day getaway at the Mansion House. From my first encounter with the front desk staff when calling to make the reservation last month, through our visit, MH never disappointed! Within moments of stepping off the ferry, we arrived on the lovely wrap-around porch of the inn. It is... More

Thank you for your great advice that we should spread the word about our geothermal heating, cooling and Energy Management Systems. We're very proud of our efforts and agree with you that is should be part of a Vineyard Visitor's lodging choice. We love the Vineyard and see it as a place where our guests come to enjoy its beauty.... More

We spent two nights at Mansion House in late April 2012. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise, ticking off all the boxes we looking for: clean, friendly staff, reasonably priced, family friendly, spacious room for three and an indoor pool. We were very happy with the hotel and in general, we had a great mini-vacation on Martha's Vineyard. The... More

We stayed in one of the rooms we saw on the website: it was HUGE, clean, and comforatable (except that the king mattress was a bit softer than we like). Very pleasant staff, and a good hot breakfast each day. For this we paid $129 (plus tax, of course) per night. Wow. Perfect location for busing around the island. We... More

We took a special offer on the website. We did like the room it was small but good for 2! The cleaning ladies did always a good job and cared! The advices depended strongly on person who was at the reception On our first night we wanted to go the restaurant which belongs to the hotel but it was already... More

Different seasons on Martha’s Vineyard make it so magical! Sometimes quiet, sometimes trendy, but always beautiful. We are so pleased that Cynthia was able to help you choose where to dine during the “off” season and hope you can come back in the summer, when everything is open and there are almost too many choices. That is what makes the... More

The staff at the Mansion House were all so very pleasant and helpful. The spa facilities were clean and lots of activities from which to choose; including lap pool, weight room/nautilus equipment, steam room, sauna, classes, etc. Unfortunately there was not a lot of time to take full advantage of these amenities, along with the Spa Treatments, as we were... This February 2012, my twin sister and I had to visit Martha's Vineyard to take care of some business. I recently purchased a home in Oak Bluffs. My sister traveled from Texas to assist me. The Mansion House was just great. The room was airy, clean and delightful. The front desk clerks were helpful. I recommend this hotel without reservation.

My childhood best friend and I spent the weekend here together as a last hurrah before her first born arrives in a few weeks (!). The staff was very very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was delicious and very filling...you can order eggs anyway you like 'em, bacon/sausage, pancakes or stick with fruit, cereal, granola, yogurt with coffee and... More

Lets start with the vineyard itself just in case some will be your first time. Its really 3 towns that you would want to do things in so having transportation is a good idea, even more so if you want to go out to the beach and point. Its the land of b and b's. The mansion is probably the... More

My husband and I recently spent our 28th Anniversary at our local hotel for what is called a staycation. WE have a wonderful suite on the 4th floor, delicious dinner at Zephrus Zeafood & Grill and really enjoyed ourselfs. We will recomend the Manion House to all our friends and hope to go again.

I called to set up a reservation time for 4 people and was trying to figure out some things about the House that weren't on the website. I couldn't believe how uninterested this lady was to help me. There are four of us and I want to know the best room to suit our needs, she responded with ONLY one... More

Please...Please...Please call us back! Our resident Sherlock Holmes can’t figure out who answered the phone (unless it was the off site /after hours answering service) and all of us want another chance. Usually we talk too much on the phone, since we love to brag about this place we proudly call home. Winter is a great time for a Vineyard... More
