The hotel was nice and right in the center of shops and restaurants. The double room was very clean and looked just like the advertised photos. The hotel restaurant was just OK...pretty standard continental breakfast and decent room service. We were able to walk from the ferry to the hotel, which was great, and we took public transportation everwhere. Even... more

I've been to MV many times during the summer. I normally stay in OB. I wanted to go during the off-season and decided to stay in Tisbury/VH this time. I had been past the Mansion House many times and looked forward to the chance to stay there as a guest. I had room 400. It was a corner-room on the... more

My twin sister and I were looking for a nice relaxing place to stay on the Vineyard for our Spring Break. The Mansion House looked beautiful and had the amenities we wanted, so I booked it. The price was right at just about $100 a night in the off season. The location was awesome, about a minute from the ferry.... more

The Vineyard must be seen in the winter and this is THE place to stay. We stayed in a great room with a fireplace, fabulous view of Vineyard Haven harbor, close to off-season shopping, yummy breakfast [that I usually brought up each morning], and a writers heaven. Our 11 year old felt adventurous walking around in this small town and... more

Having stayed at a variety of accommodation in all six island town I continue to appreciate the Mansion House for its "vineyard" design, location and most of all for being clean. We recently stayed at the Mansion House for 2 nights over NYE having dinner at the restaurant for NYE (include in the rate). Overall, we had a great experience.... more

Our stay at the Mansion House was excellent. The staff was very helpful, the room was fantastic, great location, and the restaurant is pretty good. We were able to stay at the Mansion House at winter rates, which made it a great deal. Included in the rate is access to their onsite health-club, which is a good little health club... more

The Mansion House is a gem of a hotel. The hotel is steps from great shopping and a block from the harbor. The staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. Check-in/out was quick. Our bedroom (king size bed) was huge and had a balcony - street side. There were nice amenities in our beautifully decorated room. The buffet breakfast included hot... more

My husband and I planned a trip to Martha's Vineyard as a get away off season. I highly recommend going when the crowds are no longer there. The Mansion house was very convienently located near the Vineyard Haven ferry dock. We walked 3 blocks and were right at our door step. The public transportation is excellent on the vineyard. We... more
