Pros: Inexpensive ($95 for waterside), bus stop right outside to take you to Ptown etc (accepts Charlie cards loaded w/ money (not monthly passes though), beach is steps away, Adirondack chairs right on the water, water warm and pretty seaweed free, room had stove, sink, pots pans, cookwear, plates, glasses etc Cons: cash only, no tv, bed very uncomfortable (I... This is a comfortable place to stay if you want to rent on the beach. Switch your towels each day. Owners accept Cash only. Walls are paper thin between cottages. Kitchen area provides dishes, glasses, cookware, stove and refrigerator.

If you're looking for bang for your buck, then this is probably a sound choice. But, be prepared to pay with cash, because they don't accept credit cards or checks. There is no housekeeping service, there is no A/C, there is no phone, no TV, and I don't believe there was wifi (if there was, there was no notice with... More

I've been coming to this place since I was just shy of 1 year old. Now, 31 years later, I can't wait to get back here every year! The cottages are absolutely, barebones, basic. No TV, no phone, no A/C. You do have an efficiency sized kitchen, a bed or two, and a bath. Who needs more when you are... More

I have driven by these cottages a thousand times and popped my head in a handful of times when friends stayed here but this was the first time I did a three nighter here. I'll do it again in a second. This is old school Cape Cod. Rustic is sometimes generous. There are about 30 or so units. Most are... More

why do you go to the cape in the first place? the seafood? the great views of the ocean? the smell of the salty sea air? stayed here with my wife in late september and couldnt have been more pleased with the location...the only thing between your room and the bay is sand...the location is five minutes from provincetown shops... spent 4 nights here - 2 on inland side 2 ocean front. Main attracton is the price compared to other places but I did find better places down the road. STRONG smell of raw sewage in middle of the night on our 2 night inland place near the office. Ocean front for 2 nights was acceptable but not great. Probaby... More

We just happened upon White Village on an overnight trip to the Cape in late September and I am really glad we stopped! Less than $100 for a motel room sized efficiency with ocean views and a shared deck and private beach right outside the door. It's definitely no frills - no WiFi, no AC, no TV, dated and shabby... We were 4 adults, the cottage could accommodate up to 5 people in 2 rooms, a bit small. The mattresses could be better but are acceptable. The kitchen was fully equipped, hot water, no TV, WiFi available but weak sometimes. Very clean but there's no cleaning service during your stay, so you have to take care of everything. One of... White village is a one-of-a-kind location. It's full of families who have been returning for decade after decade to the same cottage, on the same week, and as such has a real family atmosphere. When you consider that it has its own private beach on the bay, the prices they charge seem wildly low. It is worth mentioning that things... More
