Our first experience with a Townplace Suite was not overwhelmingly positive. In concept, these appear to be stripped down Residence Inns. We were greeted by a brusque, rather aggravating desk attendant. There was a problem with our reservation--a form had not arrived via fax for our stay--and the attendant was simply not helpful or understanding about the situation. After assuring... more

This is one of the most pathetic excuses for a hotel I have ever seen, and it is mostly because of the terrible people who work there. They seem to have the attitude that if you have the "Marriott" name then you don't have to do anything for the guests, which is exactly how they act. Don't dare to ask... more

For $80 a night, we stayed for 2 nights over the Canadian Thanksgiving Day weekend. We appreciated having a small kitchen in our suite, and my husband noted the fridge runs very quietly. We had a bit of trouble connecting to the Internet the first night and when we called the front desk they transfered the call to some automated... more

We were spending a couple of days touring Lexington and Concord and stayed here, an easy drive of 20-25 minutes to the Lexington and Concord attractions. The room was very clean and recently renovated in attractive earth tones. Some of the furniture was new and some was the type previously used in Towneplace Suites. There was a "grab and go"... more

I stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding at a nearby country club. I was there 3 nights. Check in was a breeze and the people who worked there were all really friendly and helpful. People have commented on smells. All I could smell was people cooking and it was not all over the hotel. It seems as if... more

This is likely the worst marriott I have ever stayed at. There is good reason why it is only a marriott rewards ONE. Many rooms had visible upgrades but overall the carpets and hallways did not smell fresh. The breakfast was wrapped muffins and juice by concentrate. The pool and outside areas clearly showed wear and overall I would not... more

I stayed here for one night--thank goodness only one--on business. I frequent the Towne Place chain around the country as I find them to be clean, comfortable, a good value and somewhat homey everywhere...except this one. The room was surprisingly dirty for a TP. The window curtains in both bedrooms had large stains all over them (looked like grease or... more

This place was in fairly poor condition for a hotel that is apparently only a year or so old. We had a two room suite with pullout. The pullout had a hole in the mattress. The other beds, while without holes, were uncomfortable. There was a foul odor that came from the sink. It was so bad, we needed to... more
