We had a lovely time here, and came to find out our hosts celebrated their anniversary the week before ours!! We toasted each other with the bottle of bubbly found in our room on our arrival! Wonderful people living in a labor of love. Beautiful horses and their surrounds. Comfy bed, great and plentiful breakfast, and any help or directions... More

I should have trusted my intuition and canceled after calling this "bed and breakfast" for a week with no response. At long last the manager Joan picked up and stated that it was such nice weather, so no one was inside to answer the call. The week before arriving same routine, three days without my call being answered, just to... More

Hostess was very hospitable but the cottage wasn't really up to scratch. Leftover food and mouldy cheese in the fridge. The dishwasher wasn't emptied. The fixtures and fittings were poor standard and not in keeping with the possible atmosphere of the lovely old building. The bed was only average. The towels were threadbare. Breakfast was really nice but all bought... More

This was more than I expected. The horses are sweet and the inn keepers go above and beyond to make your stay peaceful and lovely. It's a little oasis outside the city. I could have stayed another night. Thank you for such a beautiful weekend. I can't wait to go back!

This place is absolutely adorable and so new England. As the other reviews stated, you aren't that far out from the city, but you feel miles away. Tips: 1) The beds are comfy and the rooms are nice ( we were in Georgie's cottage), but resist the urge to sleep in late. You do NOT want to miss breakfast. I... More

What a fabulous B&B. The innkeepers were wonderful. The room that we stayed in was very comfortably appointed and the antique furniture was absolutely lovely. The bed we slept in was to die for- super comfortable, and the linens were very soft. There was even a jacuzzi in the (huge!) bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous- crispy bacon, eggs,... The innkeeper we met, Joan, was the spirit of hospitality. Besides being lovely to chat with on the phone, she was a delightful hostess during our stay. As for the inn and the rooms; the Inn was charming in its decor. Our bathroom was enormous and had every amenity and a few more for good measure. The breakfast we had... More

My wife and I wanted to have a "tech-free" weekend with our two daughters and we couldn't have found a better place. It felt like we were hours away from Boston when we were in fact only 45 minutes. When we arrived, we went straight to the Carriage house where we were going to stay and it had everything we... More

Just the name - INN ON THE HORSE FARM - lets you in on the adventure you are about to experience. The Inn is lovely and creaky and charming. The rooster might wake you up and if ducks quaking you to sleep is not your cup of tea, this is not the place for you. But for those who want... More

. . . this inn has a 100% no-refunds policy. Despite that, shortly after we arrived, we left and booked a room down the block. We chose the Inn On The Horse Farm becuase seeing the $199 per night rate and the lovely photos online we thought we would be in for a real treat. NO WAY. This was horrible.... More

First of all we have NOT received ONE CENT from you! You made your reservation with Expedia who then books thru Bed&Breakfast.com. They DO NOT send us your credit card info! They process your payment and they hold it til arrival day. On arrival day your husband called and said that you had an EMERGENCY and had to drive back... More
