My husband I celebrated our wedding here. We simply loved it. They helped us a lot in organizing all the details of our special day. The prices are also good and they had a lot of ammenities for guests. We loved it!

A favorite spot for traditional New England fare. You can absolutely immerse youself in the history here. The grounds are lovely anytime of the year. Must have drinks in the tap room. We have spent the night multiple times, in both the historic rooms and the regular rooms; all are very quaint. If you are looking for a fancy updated... More

Whenever my in-laws or out of town guests come to visit we take them here. It's only a few miles from my Mom's house and it's definitely one of the highlights of the North Framingham/Sudbury area. If its a nice day I recommend taking a stroll around the grist mill and then walking along the paths towards the Martha Mary... More

I've never stayed at the Inn, but I've eaten here a few times. The food is not what you'd call adventurous, but it's not boring either. It's their take on traditional American favorites. It's well prepared, neither overly simple in the bland meat-and-potatoes style nor overly elaborate the way some places aim at foodies. Service is good too. Prices aren't... More

Having been coming to the Inn for over 50 years since I was a child. Have stayed many, many times over the years. Have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner many times over. Was very disappointed during our weekend in Boston over the 11th. The inn (I know is over 300 years old), looked very run down. The lawn, gardens, flower beds... More

Elizabeth, thank you for the feedback. It's unfortunate that we didn't meet your expectations. After visiting us for so many years, we hope to keep providing the excellent atmosphere our guests have come to expect. As the Inn continues to age, we do our best to maintain the property and buildings, and we're sorry that they appeared unsatisfactory during your... More

We stayed in one of the oldest rooms-room 10. If you are looking for upgraded finishes, this is not the place for you! We love staying in historical hotels and inns and this room did not disappoint. My husband swears he heard doors opening and closing during the middle of the night as this room is supposedly haunted. Our daughter's... More

We have had lunch here many times and have never been disappointed. I always order the turkey dinner. Fresh turkey with the most delicious squash and stuffing. My husband gets the pot roast and raves about the tender moist meat. Inside is beautiful and very true to the original decor. (1776) We always walk across to the mill after and... More

Reputed to be Americas oldest coaching inn from the seventeenth century, it has been remarkably preserved, combining original older parts as well as extensions to the buildings. There are numerous dining areas and a function room, as well as guest stay facilities. On the two occasions my wife and I have taken lunch there the food could not be faulted.... More

Have gone to the Wayside Inn for many years and was looking forward to lunch. I agree with other reviewers that the quality of the food has slipped, Had lunch there recently and I was disappointed. The bread basket held two small muffins and a roll. They were served cold and had that day old quality to them. Ordered the... More

My wife and I have been enjoying Longfellow's Wayside Inn of over 30 years and we continue to love it. The Wayside has evolved with the times, but has remained remarkably affordable for the original Inn. It is in part supported by the Ford Foundation and the history is interesting to review. If you'd like to enjoy a true New... More
