most friendly innkeeper merlina is the best host and cook.Treated me like royalty! Beds are soft and comfortable beautifully decorated. Breakfast was served on high quality china and was outstanding. It was a great quiet place for the solitude I was seeking.

Escape from NYC led us to the Red Maple Inn for the weekend. The hosts are accommodating - we got in pretty late and they left us our key with thorough instructions by the check in bar. Place is fine overall - nothing to rave about, but nothing terrible either. it's pretty average, I'd say. I'd give it three stars,... More

We spent a night while visiting our son at a near-by college. We were impressed by the sheer number of furnishings and artifacts that decorated every space in the inn. But don't let the decorations put you off. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. No complaints at all.

I don't know how anyone could give this upscale resteraunt and upscale inn a bad review. Just ask and it is there. For example we tapped timidly late on the door for plates for pizza and were given Fine China! Hands Down THE BEST PLACE I EVER STAYED! Far superior than the best of the best. Just ask and you... It was a last minute trip to the Brimfield fair. Innkeepers were wonderful and accommodating. Our room, the Rose room, was beautiful. Very clean. Easy to find. Breakfast was excellent and staff was attentive. We would definitely come back.

After a long, long day of travel - from Honolulu to JFK to CT to MA- the Peach Room was like an oasis for a weary visitor!! Gorgeous furnishings with all the right touches and a breakfast to die for made us want to stay longer. Hint--don't pass up the stuffed blueberry French toast or the "flop-over"!! Bathroom was tiny,... More

A long trip back to NH turned into a delight with a night at the Red Maple Inn! Absolutely lovely and full of historical charm, the Inn is impeccably and lovingly run by John & Shari. They and their cuddly dog, Bella, could not have made us feel more welcomed in their home! We were lucky to stay in the... More
