What a great find for dog-friendly lodging. We enjoyed a very relaxing evening there on our way to Maine. Very nice room for our Saint Bernard and us. The dinner was delicious and breakfast the next morning was AMAZING!! Everyone was so nice and the place was very neat and clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again! more

I am amazed at the poor reviews. My family has traveled extensively throughout Germany and Austria and we found the food here to be excellent. Service was excellent and the owner Lisa was a pleasure to meet. I was shocked to see how many different appetizers and entrees were available. Even the black forest cake was not to be missed.... more

Since moving to Central Massachusetts 5 years ago, our destination of choice for a one-night get-away, for a special occasion meal, as well as for dining out with visiting friends/family, has definitely become The Vienna. The food, the owners, the staff, and the ambience all work together to refresh the body, mind, and soul. There used to be a TV... more

My wife surprised me with a birthday dinner and stay over with some friends. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and enjoyed a nice appetizer and drink in the parlor. Dinner was absolutlely splendid. Part of my job requires consistent travel to Austria, and I was impressed by how authentic the dinner choices were. Everything was prepared perfectly and our... more

We went to Vienna for dinner and to stay overnight on Valentine's Day and it was FABULOUS! To be honest, I like to spend holidays at home, but my husband really wanted to go out, so we chose Vienna. As busy as the night was everything was flawless... We arrived early and were able to check in early without a... more

We had looked forward to going to the Vienna restaurant because we both love Austrian and German cuisine. At first glance, we thought it was a charming place - waitresses in pretty folk costumes, dining rooms nicely decorated. Our second impression was - noisy! The music was over powering and even after 2 requests to lower the volume, we could... more

I've never written a review before, but I had to write this review to warn people about The Vienna. In the picture they make it look like it's a bucolic inn. But when we arrived, I could hardly believe how it was set in the middle of a big, noisy intersection. We arrived around noon and when we got there... more

The Vienna Hotel is a poorly kept old property sitting at a noisy intersection. Our welcoming appetizers never arrived, breakfast was an unbalanced act of too sweet, heavily dairy . While we were asked about dietary restrictions, no consideration was made to accomodate them. Dinner was good, not great, yet pricey. Worst of all our suite was shabby and not... more

Planning a stop between Maine and New Jersey, we randomly chose the area around Sturbridge, MA. Looking for a place to stay, the first site I opened was for the Vienna and I knew I needed to look no further. Having lived in Europe for 4 years, I knew this would be a bit of a step back there and... more

The Vienna - a truly memorable experience. Upon entering this historic B&B, you are whisked to another place and time. The beautifully handcrafted woodwork, old-world fireplaces, elegant dining nooks and well-appointed rooms give you that warm European feel. We chose to dine in our room. Jonathan, the resident Chef, created two exquisite dishes for us: lobster ravioli for me and... more
