We went to this hotel for a week and I have to say, I wasn't impressed, because I was expecting a bit more, the rooms were motel type , nothing special, we had terrible weather which didn't help and there wasn't much to do. We went with another family and we asked for connected rooms and our kids liked it... More

Thanks for sharing your opinion regarding last year’s stay here at the Red Jacket Beach. We strive to provide our guests with a traditional Cape Cod experience hopefully creating lasting memories for the entire family. It sounds as though the kids had a great time. Our 1,000 foot direct ocean beach is serviced by a helpful staff, providing beach towels,... More

I love the Red Jacket in NH, and expected the same quality here, but did not find it. The rooms were fairly expensive for the off-season, and definitely did not warrant the high prices. The room was straight from 1980, including velour blankets (cigarette hole included), smelly bed spreads, a gigantic TV, and a really loud refrigerator. It just felt... More

Thanks for letting us know how you felt about the room after your recent visit. Most of our rooms have been redecorated and our room rate is considered to be a value based upon location in the hotel. All rooms have had some upgrades over the off season and we are pleased that the negative comments communicated about the bed... More

We went there last September for a week-end. On a positive note: the swimming pools are very nice, the breakfast is good, and the beach in front of the hotel is really nice. However, the rooms are average and a bit outdated. And the hotel is way overpriced! Overall, good hotel but far too expensive for what it is…

My husband, daughter and I recently spent one night at the Red Jacket for my birthday. I have been coming to the Cape for many years and never have stayed here before - what a mistake on my part. We stayed on a Saturday night, the last night they were open before they closed for the season. We had a... More

It is nearly impossible to find a BnB or waterfront hotel that will rent you room for less than 3 nights during the summer, but this place does. It is well kept, right on the beach and a nice resort set up. Room was clean and being able to walk out onto the beach was a plus. The breakfast was... More

Spent the Columbus day weekend with my wife, for our anniversary at the Red jacket Resort. Friends of ours had suggested the property. It did not disappoint. We booked a riverside room. Had requested the second floor, for the view, and not to have noise above us. Had a king size bed, room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Flat... More

We stayed in October 2013 over the holiday weekend. we had an ocean view room....we could see the ocean and we could see the big tent that also over looks the ocean. Not too bad as we spent most of our time at the ocean. the ocean is right outside this resort. There is plenty of clean sand, even when... More

For a number of years my husband and myself would stand on the jetty at Seagull Beach, stare across the channel to the Red Jacket Beach Resort, and say "Someday..". Well, someday arrived this past week and it was everything we had hoped for. First, the resort: the Beach Resort is beautifully situated, off at the end of a road,... More

Red Jacket Resorts in South Yarmouth has multiple locations--all located on Nantucket Sound. Rooms the overlook the ocean beaches are high cost, and unfortunately, ours was right smack in back of the area on the grass where kids programs were run DAILY. This meant NO afternoon nap/rest after a day at the pool/beach. For families--the kids club is a great... More

Spent a long weekend at the beach front room The staff and the location were superb. The facilities are aging and the end of the season may have led to a bit of a tattered look. Breakfast was ample and of good quality and service was attentive
