Bass river was a good motel experience. There were plenty of windoes to let natural light in. It has a vintage stayle feel with a tube tvm could use flat screens for some modern charm. No breakfest. There are restaurants and other businesses near by. Bedroom is very big but in proportion the bathroom feels a pinch too small. Cheap... More

This place is perfect if you're just looking for a clean, cheap, very basic old fashioned hotel. It was a great base for just checking out the cape in a quiet area in the off season. It is not fancy. Like 1970's decor, and not the good kind. But I slept like a rock.

Refrigerator and microwave helped make this a great room for the money. The bed was a little uncomfortable but a nice hot shower in the morning helped work the kinks out. For the money this is a good little motel.

This was an okay central cape hotel. I think it is a 5 star hotel in the 3 star category. thats a good way to describe it. Rooms are well kept for what they are. a little dated but for the price its a bargain hotel. The heat worked well and there was very little noise and I would say... More

The price was very reasonable and fair. Rooms are clean and simple. Nothing glamorous but liveable. Price includes your own microwave, fridge, set of bath towels for two people, internet, and your own parking spot. Could use some exterior updating but they seemed to be working on that as there was a guy painting windows during the day. Owners run the... More

I am a frequent Cape Cod visitor but I did not have access to a relatives condo so decided to stay at a hotel. Imagine a hot sunny Saturday in September on Cape Cod where the temperature is 80 degrees. Perfect for a day at the beach. Imagine getting a hotel for 38 bucks on such a nice day. I... More

The first idea that comes to mind is support the local store and not the big box store. Its a small family driven motel. If you are looking for the red carpet (i.e shampoo, toothpaste, valet, etc) then stop reading this will disappoint. I am sure there are places that tailor to those needs in the area, and they probably... More

Real bad place. Not a good place, needs updating big time. No pool, no wireless, a paper bath mat, no shampoo, no conditioner, no place for suit case, no drawers for clothing, no hair dryer, no iron, no curtain on windows, rugs smell.

I stayed here for five nights while touring Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. It's a perfect location as it's and hour or less (depending on traffic) to Provincetown and numerous beaches, trails and lighthouses and only 10-15 minutes to the Hyannis ferry terminal. There are a few restaurants and a pharmacy within walking distance as well as mini golf.... More

Loved the location. Hyannis is about 15 minutes. The town on the tip was about half an hour. The staff made great recommendations on local restaurants and beaches. The guy at the desk spent almost 20 minutes setting us up to visit marthas vinyard and what to do once we get their. South beach in edgertown is by far the... More
