The Daniel Stebbins House (not Inn, as described here in Trip Advisor) in South Hadley is a charming B&B with 4 rooms on the upstairs level (this is not an accessible place if you don't like stairs). I was so disappointed with this B&B--the bed was old and lumpy (I had a headache the next day from no sleep), the decor was gaudy and the breakfast was the bare minimum. The male owner (who was supposedly cooking) was rude and critical when we said we don't eat eggs and then suggested we dip into the Thomas English... more

A B&B built in 1795 in the picturesque setting of South Hadley, MA, close to Mount Holyoke College sounds idyllic but Daniel Stebbins House is a major let down. I recently returned to the Stebbins Inn while attending a family event. This time I stayed in the charming Pink room where I was greeted by the warmth of a glowing fireplace. The bed was again, remarkably comfy and the breakfast of home baked goods, fresh fruit and eggs, etc. was delicious. This is my favorite Inn. more

Like the other review noted, this B&B has wonderfully comfortable beds, tasteful decor, and a yummy breakfast. My husband and I recently stayed here two nights during the week while visiting family in the area. Overall, we found it a wonderful retreat with an old colonial feel.
