Stayed here while attending a conference at Mt Holyoke. Easy 10 min walk to meeting room. Comfortable accommodations. Nice breakfast. Owner very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. If you are bothered by road noise, ask for a room in the back part of the house. Was not a problem for me, but might be for some.

My daughter and I used the Daniel Stebbins House as our base of operations during a recent college visit. Anne went well out of her way to make sure everything about our stay was delightful. She cheerfully customized breakfast to match our food restrictions and helped us plan our itinerary. When, after our departure, she discovered that I'd left one... More

A friend and I stayed here while doing research at Mount Holyoke College. Ann is a perfect host! Comfort mixes with historic appeal, as beds are good, showers are good (and private!), and you can walk anywhere in South Hadley. I want to have my family stay here when the research is finished!!

We couldn't have had a better place to spend our wedding night. Cloud-like bed, fireplace, soothing and welcoming environment. Going in for breakfast, it was like being received by family. Everything about this place is love - well maintained, excellent food (with gluten-free and vegan options!), and warm, loving owners. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Trust me - if you... More

We just spent one night at Daniel Stebbins House while visiting Mount Holyoke College. We arrived late, and there was a note on the door saying to come on in and welcoming us. The room was tidy and comfortable, with comfy beds, good shower and free fast wifi. We had to leave before breakfast time, but Anne put out some... More

Beautiful house and room. Comfortable bed. Due to the age of this house the rooms are tiny. Breakfast was fantastic especially out on the covered porch on the second floor. I would highly recommend this B&B.

This is a lovely B and B inSouth Hadley Mass. The rooms and clean and beautiful and the dining room for guests is charming..... you really feel as if you have stepped back in time. The breakfast is bountiful and the proprietress offered to cool us eggs to order. My mother and I stayed in the 2 front rooms and... More

Daniel Stebbin's house looks and feels tired, and has some tacky touches, too - our room had a dixie paper cup dispenser that looked like it was from the '70's, there were typewritten signs in many places ("Don't touch this switch"), a plastic paint pail filled with weeds on the main path, and the innkeeper's children's toys were scattered on... Had to do a last minute booking for a lacrosse weekend at UMass. DS House was perfect for me and my Son. Anne (the owner) was very helpful and accommodating, room #3 was very clean and well decorated with nice beddings and linens, great central AC on a very hot and humid weekend. We had to get up early Sunday... More

My husband and I stayed at the Daniel Stebbins house this Feb. 14th. We stayed in the Cream Room (#3) and it was delightful. Nice furnishings and the gas fire felt wonderful on a chilly day. I agree with others that the bathroom was small but well appointed. Our big disappointment was the breakfast part of our stay. Anne, the... More
