I wanted a vacation by the ocean but, away from the crowds and thought there was no place in Southern New England like that until I discovered this hidden treasure of a B&B. Located in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, this well hiddened gem is walking distance to the Padanaram Harbor along the Apponagansett River. The beautiful home is tucked away in... More

AOne of our favorite B&B experiences. The Innkeepers were extremely hospitable, a British couple who were a pleasure to talk with. The grounds were beautiful, the atmosphere quiet. The room was comfortable. Delicious breakfasts for the 3 mornings we were there. We highly recommend the Henley House!

Friendly hosts, well organized. We were in town for a wedding and Derrick was kind enough to print out directions and map to get us to our destination quickly and avoiding the construction/highway delays. The room was very clean. We stayed in the Slocum room. The bed was very comfortable . Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

We ended up staying here because we needed a place to stay over the weekend for a family reunion nearby. The innkeepers, Margaret and Derrick, were so welcoming when we first got there. It is a charming little house with three bedrooms, we stayed in the Thames Room. Cleanliness is a HUGE factor for me, so when I saw the... More

Our extended family moved into the Henley House for a weekend in June while in town for a wedding. Having stayed at B&B's in the past, you never know quite what to expect. Henley House was a joy from the first moment. We were graciously welcomed by both husband and wife, who opened their lovely home to all 6 of... More

While in the area for a wedding, I stayed here with my wife, three year-old son, 30 year-old brother, and my parents (60's). We booked all three rooms and stayed from Friday to Sunday. We were expecting a convenient place to sleep, but were surprised to find an incredibly charming and comfortable bed & breakfast. In an area with few... More

A gorgeous, spotless B&B nestled on a quiet street in Olde New England. The hosts Derrick and Margaret Jones both speak with refined English accents. The garden and grounds reflects their english heritage, and attention to detail, as does their home. Hot fresh home baked muffins filled the air with a smell that would stir anyone from slumber. Mr. Jones... More
