Just wrapping up my most recent stay at this wonderful place. I've stayed here every summer and several falls for years and I keep coming back. Perfect location on Nantucket Sound with a private beach. Fall to sleep every night to the sound of waves. The owners, Ed And Ellen Handel do a great job of keeping the place in... More

Stayed in an efficiency with ocean front view. Lovely location. Room very tight. Shower in bathroom very small. Although it is non smoking had a smoker next door Older hotel. Enjoyed our stay but too close quarters to stay again.

Though this hotel is older, it is well maintained. It is located on Nantucket Sound surrounded by a residential community. Though it was mid September the hotel was still active. We stayed in an efficiency room. The bathroom is updated but very tight. Enjoyed the beautiful views directly out to the water from our room and deck. Though your individual... More

I stayed at Chatham Tides in Aug. 2014 and was very pleasantly surprised. It is an older motel, built on a hill over a small beach on the Nantucket sound, calm water, no waves. First, the room was clean, bathroom renovated, a bit small, and a sweet kitchen alcove with small fridge, cook top, coffee maker and toasted. No microwave!... More

It was only a short walk to the beach. The room was very clean. However, please be aware of your personal valuables and belongings. My daughter had a very nice navy blue cashmere sweater that disappeared from her suitcase. The sweater had been on top of her clothes in the suitcase and was visible to any of the housekeeping staff... More

This place is fabulous. The views are amazing and the accommodations are superb. We stayed at Number 19. Its a quiet place, off the main road and its just a short walk down to the little beach. We hope to stay there again soon.

Wonderful place to reconnect and relax. No frills but what a view of the ocean. Cannot wait to return. First time to Cape Cod and everyone was so nice and helpful. The private beach is perfect. Make sure to bring coffee and milk

We returned to Chatham Tides Waterfront for our second time and again had an amazing vacation. Our earlier visit was in the fall and if you want solitude, probably was even more enjoyable than the summer months. If you book the waterfront efficiencies, you are just what it says , waterfront. Rooms are feet from the ocean with an unobstructed... More

There is a place where the sky meets the sea, and the sea meets the shore. This location is on Cape Cod, MA in the beautiful town of South Chatham. When you drive down Pleasant street heading for the Chatham Tides property, you are immediately taken by the quiet surroundings of the area. The end of the street is your... More

When you go to smaller hotels, you usually run into a very interested proprietor who wants to tell you everything about the area, point you to good restaurants, etc. However, everyone keeps to themselves here, although they will point to a stack of advertisements when you check in. So, make sure you bring your guidebook and do some research before... More

So glad you enjoyed the 'sounds of the sea' and our unique location! Sorry we were not as helpful as we should have been. We care that our guests have a great Cape Cod experience - whether relaxing at the shore or travelling around seeing the sites! More
