Calamari was overly breaded and rubbery. My wife ordered a baked / broiled seafood plate that was also extremelly rubbery.

Staff is always welcoming, friendly and extremely accomodating. Took advantage of room service. Delicious food was delivered hot and in a timely fashion. Enjoyed drinks and apps in the quaintTavern and a delicious prime rib dinner in the Conservatory overlooking the gardens and waterfall. Our suite was superb and maid service was top notch. Have enjoyed many wonderful stays and would highly reccomend the Daniel Webster Inn. I give it 5 *****

Overall, a pretty good experience. Polite staff, the restaurant food is actually pretty good which is also a plus considering limited dining options in Sandwich (go to MashPee if you really want good food). My only comment is that the hotel needs a 'refreshing'.....things seem old, decor is 'stayed'. The carpeting in our room was stained and they have a shower soft water attachment which looked a little odd......Would make a great HGTV redo show.

everything- from the look of the place from the outside, to check in/out process to the tastefully and very comfortable room to the dining room experience to the plentiful and cheery staff was top notch. i've known about the hotel for years but have never been there before this weekend. i'll certainly be back!

This is a memorable place to stay.There has been an inn on this site for 300 years and the current one retains a charming air of history.Our room was cosy and tastefully furnished even though I do not like televisions hidden in cupboards.The staff are efficient and friendly and the ambience is warm and relaxed.

Our experience at the inn was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and knowledgeable. The room was beautiful, and everyone was very accommodating. Even the Beach Plum Spa exceeded our expectations. The only disappointment was that we only stayed for one night. We will definitely be returning.
