I made a mistake with this booking as I thought I had upgraded to a deluxe room. When I found we have been given a very small room in neither the manse nor the Abbey but in a third building called the Village Inn, I studied my paperwork. This inn and restaurant is located in an old Catholic church. The owner has done a beautiful job making it into a cozy inn and restaurant. Atmosphere abounds, all the people who helped us were friendly but not intrusive, and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend this inn and restaurant to anyone within driving distance of Sandwich, MA. more
