My close friend and I cycle each year to the Cape and routinely stop for a night at the Belfry Inn. This has become our favorite stop with it's great food, beautiful rooms, comfy beds, and spectacular staff! Who could ask for more?

My girlfriend and I stayed this last Friday and Saturday night at the Village House. Our room was bright and comfortable and the inn and the town of Sandwich made for a great trip. We ate at the bistro Saturday night and enjoyed our meal tremendously. Having the very charming and funny Lynn serve us made the experience even more... More

We really appreciated the quiet peaceful space here. The host was lovely, and prepared a wonderful breakfast both days. They were very accommodating to our need for a late check in. This was a prime location for being able to leave the cape first thing in the morning.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Belfry Inn and Bistro's adjacent Victorian inn, the Painted Lady. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with a fully functional, clean, and comfortable bathroom. The bed was possibly the best I have ever slept in with a heavenly down comforter paired with excellent air conditioning. Although, we did have issues with the... More

This place is so very unique and beautiful. The restaurant had an a very poor night while we were there. The food took forever to arrive and was extremely stingy. I know you are "upscale" but those portions were ridiculously small especially after waiting over an hour to be served. Breakfast was a much better experience. Rethink the whole dinner... More

Im sorry, but I cant understand why anyone would praise this place. We made allowances for the fact that wed asked for something typically Cape Cod, and were coming from the opulence of Omni hotels, so we didn't expect help upstairs with our luggage. But neither did we expect the smell of damp (Ive had it at home due to... More

We had high hopes for a restaurant with a good reputation. But last season is not this season. I have tasted better food in a corner cafe. Totally disorganised - untrained staff - unforgivably cold and mediocre food. Lovely people but this place needs a wake up call

We stumbled upon the Belfry Inn and Bistro accidentally while meandering around the Cape on our way to Eastham for a long weekend. The exterior of the bistro is what caught our eye. This is a church that has been renovated into a restaurant. As it was sunny out, the stained glass windows really sparkled and the interior is a... More

The Belfry is a converted historical church turned into a Inn and Bestro. A nice menu of contemporary dishes with city flair. A bit pricy but delicious. We had the fried oyster sliders and the frois Gras. Both were quite flavorful and well prepared.

We spent the first two nights of our honeymoon here and we were NOT disappointed! Amazing room, Tuesday Room. OMGoodness it was fantastic! The stained glass window over the bed was VERY romantic and the lighted jacuzzi tub was perfect! It was well worth the price and we had absolutely NO complaints. The breakfast was included, as it should be,... More
