It was nice in 2003 & 2004. Something changed by 2005. Management? Owners? Pool was cold & dirty (advertised heated). Supposed to have continental breakfast in the morning---didn't happen. Room much overdue for improvements. Deck was FILTHY. Attitude of office attendant was terrible. Overall property took a real dive!! Truly sad---it was so nice at one time. more

My husband and I have frequented Shady Nook for 5 years. We even had a real turkey running around the parking lot last October! The Renaldi's are really nice people , who run a nice and clean place to stay. They go out of their way to accomodate their guests as much as they can. I would definetly recommend Shady... more

I can't begin to guess how many times I've stayed at the Shady Nook and everytime it has been a wonderful experience. I've been going there since Jim and Sharron Rinaldi first bought it, and have watched it become more beautiful and more comfortable each year as they have made improvements.
