They advertiseit as a Rockport Inn, and when we got there we found a dirty, filthy motel. Urine on the bathroom walls, rust in the sink, rat holes in the walls, puke on the rug. Stay away from this place! They advertise a beautiful Inn, and when you get there you'll find the dirty motel with dirty, musty towels on... More

The worse place to stay in Rockport. The pool was closed because it's now the "storage" room for extra filthy beds and linen. The famous "breakfast" was no longer due to a mysterious "closing" and the obligatory apologies associated with the note. Soiled bath towels remained in the hallway throughout most of the day for those lucky few that received... More

While on a recent family vacation in Rockport, my girlfriend and I decided to add an extra day to our visit and book a room at the Cape Hedge Inn. Our rental house was right around the corner near Cape Hedge Beach, I had stayed here as a kid for many years and it's smack dab in the middle between... More

Although the hotel is a great location to the beaches and both Gloucester and Rockport, we found the Hotel to be dirty and we even saw some roaches. We had a family reunion and had booked 4 different rooms. The rodents were spotted in two of these rooms. The indoor pool was a nice addition but that too had bugs... More

We stayed at this hotel during Fiesta weekend. The rate was very reasonable. The hotel is a short walk to two beaches. I would recommend this hotel to families with young children. This is not a luxery resort. The rooms are simple and moderately clean. We stayed in the effciency suite which is billed as being able to sleep 7.... More

After being told the room rate was $149 a night we arrived and there were additional "booking fees" of $5 and $8.50. Nobody likes these kind of surprises. The room was so-so. No view at all. Oh, and there was no wireless anywhere in the building except two feet from the front door of the lobby. Worst accommodations on this... More

The Cape Hedge Inn does not charge booking fees. This traveler made his reservation online through a 3rd party site such as Expedia which charges an $8.50 booking fee which is disclosed at the time of booking. The Cape Hedge Inn offers 2 wireless routers at each end of the inn providing free internet access to our guests throughout the... More

Had the best stay ever at this Inn! The room was clean, the inn was quiet and its in a quiet spot as well away from all the bustle in the center of Rockport. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and I also found this hotel to be very affordable especially being located in such a touristy type town.... More

It looks like they have tried to update this motor inn, no way is it an INN. However new bedspreads and curtins do not hide a black mold ceiling in the shower, peeling wall paper in guest rooms and baths. Very thin walls, so thin they ask you to turn your tv down after 9. Old air conditioner kept me... More

The management wholly disagrees with these statements. We are highly regulated by the Board of Health and they would not allow these conditions to exist. Not sure of reviewers motives. More

We chose this hotel because it could accomodate our family of 5. When we booked the room we were told we'd have a rollaway for the 5th person, but it wasn't there. The woman at the desk was very helpful and found us a rollaway. We set it up, and even with it set up the room was not crowded.... More

We recently stayed at the Cape Hedge Inn for the weekend. We found it to be a good value, clean, and with an indoor pool. It was very kid friendly and close to the beach! Friendly, and helpful staff directed us to great restaurants downtown about a mile and a half away. Would definitely stay there again!
